We came here on a Saturday late afternoon, the vibe was great — the staff was super friendly and attentive. The cook (Smitty himself??) came out to talk with us and you could really tell he was so passionate about his food and wanting others to try it. His own creation – the BYA sauce was hot but SUPER flavorful, and not just hot for the sake of being hot. We took his advice and got the hot honey wings (fried, hot, juicy, crispy) and dip them in the BYA sauce — 10/10 would recommend! Smash burger was delicious, the mixed basket of fries, onion rings, and waffle fries were a hit ❤️ EXCELLENT cocktails – thanks for making our last stop before returning to the mainland special. Will be coming back for sure when we return!

Absolutely killer smash burgers and good beer. Everyone in my family loved the Kauai burger (smash burger with cheese plus Kalua pork, pineapple, and bbq sauce). The smash burger was made perfectly and was absolutely delicious. We’re so glad we stopped in for an early lunch and would happily come back again next time we’re in Lihue

Awesome little place. Has live music many nights and karaoke other nights. Owner and bartender were both super nice and helpful. I will visit this place every time I’m on the island from now on. Oh yea the food and drinks are good as well.

Looking for a “dive bar” with a small town feel this is it! With a limited food menu but a full bar with multiple beers and seltzer on tap. I had the Honey Girl cocktail, prefect! The smash burger is even better if you make it double and add the fried egg.

I was eager to like this place since the old Kalapaki beach hut closed down, leaving me with limited burger options. The food was decent, but the extra patty for $5 is a must. A single patty is paper thin, while the bun is much larger.
On a positive note, they have an impressive selection of whiskeys and tequilas, which might be the only reason I’d return.
However, be warned! The woman bartender with short hair adds a 20% automatic gratuity to every takeout order. When I called to place an order over the phone, I was informed that they didn’t have any fries or tots because they were cleaning the oil. They offered a 20% discount, which I was happy with.
But here’s the catch: when I paid, I was handed an iPad and asked to leave another 20% tip. I didn’t realize I had already paid one with the automatic gratuity. It’s like highway robbery!

Sunrise Coffee Truck
This place is an absolute vibe!!! Hands down one of the funniest, liveliest spots in Lihue. The drinks are next level. They are strong, perfectly mixed, and consistently amazing … and the service is unreal. The staff is friendly, fast, and genuinely makes the night better. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows.
The energy here is always on point. Whether you’re coming for drinks, karaoke, watching a game, or just to have a good time with friends, this place delivers every single time. It’s the kind of bar where one drink turns into a full night of laughs and memories. If you’re Local or a visitor everyone feels welcome, and the crowd is always fun.
If you’re looking for great drinks, incredible service, and nonstop good vibes, this is the spot. Easily one of our favorite bars on the island. It’s also a great spot to go for lunch, as they have the best smash burgers on island!!!

Awesome vibey bar tucked away near the airport. Had an amazing smash burger & a few pints at fair pricing while killing time before a redeye but wish I discovered the place sooner in my trip! They play awesome music, have a range of sports on display & do karaoke nights! The bartender was very nice & attentive, didnt catch her name. Def recommend a stop bye!

Beautiful brand new inside, smash burger was best burger I’ve had – very tasty. They do all the sports. Open 7am Sundays and open every day till 2am. Very friendly. They had DJ tonight Saturday looks like grand opening. The beer garden was nice too. Their first bar The Dirty Monkey burned down in the fire in Lahaina so they moved here to open this one. Very nice staff.

If you love smash burgers and are OK with very limited toppings options, this is your place. Our burgers were delicious! Unfortunately their fryer was down, so we didn’t get to try their fries. To compensate for that they gave us each an extra patty. The extra patty is a must. The server was great and very helpful. The atmosphere is ultra-casual. Don’t expect fancy. But the prices are a relief from those at the nearby resort, and the burgers are awesome!
