Reviews
The place doesn’t have any parking lot, but we already parked at the Dolby Theater so it’s just a little walk to Highland Ave.
The restaurant doesn’t look fancy, you can call it’s a hole in the wall restaurant on the main street of Hollywood.
The restaurant is actually very clean and pleasant inside. There’s only 2 people working there, must be mom and pop. It wasn’t crowded when we walked in, so we get to order right away.
Every dishes are so inexpensive compare to the Bay Area. We ordered many dishes that we liked. Eggplants, pineapple fried rice, seafood crispy chow mein, 3 flavor sizzling plate, some sapporo and tsingtao beer, we prefer to share a big bottle of either one but they don’t have so we ordered single one each to share.
The foods cooked very hot and tasty, the portions are huge, we actually took home most of the foods.
The eggplants were delicious, the crispy chow mein with thick noodles wasn’t so crispy and it’s hard, the sauce is excellent, we preferred the cantonese thin noodles. The Fried rice seemed to be from precooked rice and not freshly cooked, dry and hard although the taste was good.
The 3 flavor sizzling plate was excellent and we liked it a lot.
For the price and the food, this place is great, just have to order the right dishes. May be the soft chow mein would be good, the steam rice may be better than fried rice or dump the rice altogether with just chow mein.
Now we know a place to eat when we visit Hollywood Chinese and Dolby Theatre.
We ordered shrimp dumplings, sui mai, wor wanton soup and kungpow chicken.
The food came out fast. The soup tasted healthy and clean. Not like other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. 3.5/5

After a week , when I am in not anymore in Los Angeles they took money for the card where payment wasn’t working.
Please, solve the problem. Unofficial payment was made on 13.01.2026. I need money back. Thanks.
Put 3 stars just to pay attention to my comment.
