I recently visited Sahara Market and was really impressed. Their Persian food is delicious and authentic, with flavors that remind me of home-cooked meals. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sahara Restaurant. The chicken kebab I was served had a terrible smell and tasted as though it was weeks, if not months, old. It was clear that the food was neither fresh nor properly prepared. I couldn’t even finish it.
For the price, I expected much better quality. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before dining here. This kind of quality is unacceptable, and I hope the restaurant takes immediate action to improve.

This is hands down the best Persian food I have ever had. After numerous times eating here, I couldn’t help but write a review. I live an hour away and it is worth the drive to eat here everytime. The food is always fresh, warm, and the flavor is incredible. I mainly get the Lamb & Beef SH. Plate and it absolutely DELIVERS. Their kabob plates are also incredible with amazing flavor. Everything here is house made, and the veggies and other ingredients always taste fresh. I finished my meal today with a fresh out the oven house made Kooloocheh and it was so good I had to get 6 more of them. I always wash it all down with their flavorful hot tea. The service here is also so amazing, everybody is always super warm and friendly and treat you like family. The ambiance is great, it is a very clean and relaxing dining area, great place to bring friends and family and enjoy a meal or just play cards and sip hot tea. After you’re done eating you can shop in their market for authentic Persian goods and anything middle-eastern/Mediterranean/Indian & Persian groceries. This market also has all of their house made pastry’s and other Persian treats/delights. This is one of my favorite restaurants if not my favorite restaurant.

I purchased Duru bulgur from Sahara Market, and the packages had clearly been opened and resealed. As shown in the video, the packaging is not original and the contents were most likely altered. Note: The lentils in the video were purchased from another store — only the bulgur from Sahara Market had this issue. This is a serious risk to consumer safety and shows a lack of reliability. I strongly advise against shopping here. I will also be reporting this matter to the authorities.

Sahara Market is a must try! Great grocery selection, fresh food, and an incredible restaurant menu. The food is fantastic and the restaurant has a great atmosphere to hang out and have a conversation with friends and family. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Horrible service, no sabzi sumac or onions with my kebab, we bought juju kebab and kebab Koobideh and we got home 3 min later and it was so cold, it tasted like it’s been sitted out for weeks, taste dry and disgusting. I will never eat there again!

Really delicious Persian and Afghan food (similar to Mediterranean food)! Family owned; the owner’s son Ben is really friendly. They also have a grocery store connected to the restaurant, with Middle Eastern and Indian food that you can’t find in normal grocery stores. They cater as well if you want to serve a large party or work event!

The prices are extremely high, and the employees are very rude and unprofessional. According to city and state regulations, businesses are required to allow customers access to restrooms, but the owner of this business never allows customers to use the restroom. This place is not customer-friendly at all, and I recommend avoiding doing business with this market
