Floyd’s Timber Tavern in Tomahawk, Wisconsin is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is one of those special local bars that just gets it. The atmosphere is welcoming, laid-back, and full of character, the kind of place where locals and visitors alike feel right at home.
And then there’s Becca behind the bar, who truly takes the whole experience to another level. She is hands-down one of the best bartenders around. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to, Becca makes everyone feel welcome and remembered. Drinks are always made perfectly, service is fast even when the place is busy, and her positive energy sets the tone for the entire bar.
Floyd’s Timber Tavern is the kind of place you plan to stop in for one drink and end up staying all night because you’re having such a great time. Between the great atmosphere, the awesome crowd, and Becca’s top-tier bartending, it’s easily one of the best spots in Tomahawk. They have great food, the staff are friendly and it has a lot of room to sit and visit. I would recommend a visit if you are in town.

Great atmosphere and fun times to be had at Floyd’s Timber Tavern! Beautiful log cabin feel inside the bar. The drinks are great as well as the food. Try Caleb’s Frothy Coffee! They are in the beginning stages of building their menu now so they have the tried and true typical bar food like chicken strips, and a good pizza. However they have specials frequently that are all worth checking out. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Huge positive you won’t find elsewhere, THE BAR STOOLS! Golly it sounds weird to rave about a bar stool but if you go you’ll know why. They are so incredibly comfortable. I’ve never sat in a more comfortable stool. Check them out!

Looking for a good homemade Bloody Mary in Tomahawk? This one was delicious! Owner was fantastic and friendly. Good music, lots of space, beautiful place. Can’t wait to visit Thursday’s for burgers or Wednesday for wings or bacon tacos on Tuesdays!!
