Born and raised Floridian, spent adult life in Texas. Came down for a vacation and I have to say this is the worst BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. Woman that took my order seemed to at least have some type of humor to her although she was more interested in going home than anything. I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be that good when I didn’t see any smoke (Propane is used, not wood). Everything was pretty much tasteless, I thought maybe the sausage was going to be ok, but when we got our $100 worth of food back to AirB&B I was horrified. The Order was as follows: Rack of Ribs, Pound of chopped beef and two sausages with sides of collards, mac&cheese, beans, potato salad (ran out of cole slaw). Couldn’t order the Family meal I wanted because they had no pork (first day they opened for the week, ok). As I stated all of the meat was flavorless and almost inedible, and the sides were pretty much the same. I’m not sure where/how all of these 4/5 stars got here, all I can say is beware. If your goal is to have good outdoor bbq, do yourself a favor and look for smoke.

Kind of disappointed, I have seen this place on the side of the road, I stopped today right when they opened and ordered chopped pork and some ribs and it was kinda expensive but it’s bbq, when I arrived home, opened up the plate and only had very small portion of chopped pork and no ribs, I was very disappointed on top of that it was just ok bbq, other than they have good potato salad but that’s my opinion. I’m writing this review just to let people know. Pay attention if you go here and make sure they give you the right food.

I’m visiting from Houston and I’m usually very leery of eating BBQ when I’m visiting other places. But boy I’m glad I did this time, now they were sold out of chicken and ribs when I got there, which was a bummer. But made me think that their bbq had to be pretty good. So I ordered a 1/2 pound of pulled pork and some baked beans, and it was super delicious. I love how tender the pork was and the hint of smoke it had. It also had a nice black bark on it. With homemade BBQ sauce, which was very tangy with a hint of sweetness. I also got a side order of baked beans, which were super delicious too. Definitely will be going back next time I’m back in town.

Delicious southern BBQ at its finest that is well worth the price. If you’re in the area stop by and get you some. We had the family combo of a slab of ribs and pulled pork with Mac & Cheese and Greens as our sides. With lunch finished myself and my pops still had enough for at least two more meals. The Delicious smokey taste of the meats with the blend of seasonings in the homemade sauce will get your taste buds in over drive for sure. The greens with their pork & garlic flavor and the sharp cheese flavor of the mac & Cheese made this trip a memorable one for pops and myself. Prices are reasonable and the staff are more than patient and friendly ear to explain the menu to you. I highly recommend this roadside BBQ stop for sure. One of the best BBQ stops to date.

I ordered a chopped pork dinner. I had the collards and Mac& Cheese with it. It came with white bread. 1st they only accept cash. 2nd the guy putting the food together was nice but the lady taking the order wasn’t pleasant at all. She wasn’t nice and seemed as if she couldn’t be bothered taking the order.
The food portions were okay for the price. The chopped pork had some good flavor. It was smoky and tender. The collards also had a nice flavor. The Mac& Cheese was okay. Overall the food tasted good.
The place didn’t look dirty or clean just okay. It could have been cleaner. I am not sure if I would go back.

1/4 white chicken, and I choose macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. It came with two pieces of bread too. It is absolutely delicious!
The chicken has an amazing smokey, salty, sweet flavor. I ordered the sauce on the side. Oh my, it is the perfect blend of tangy, smokey sweet.
The best coleslaw I’ve had in a very long time.
The Mac and cheese is so yummy too!
