Food was delicious. One of our go-to places when we visit SoCal. One thing to note: the menu says something like they can customize menu items to be vegetarian, however they told us they couldn’t when we asked.

Amazing dishes and one of the best catering places!

The menu is gigantic and they offer both dining as well as to-go catering. They have a majority of all the popular Vietnamese dishes and everything is quite authentic.

* Bún Bò Huế Đặc Biệt: 8/10 – good broth, comes with all the typical meat and veggies
* Bánh Nậm Lá: 9/10 – tasty, but wish they gave more than 10
* Mì Quảng: 9/10 – comes with tons of meat and veggies

The restaurant has plenty of tables inside and the workers are very attentive. It’s located in a large plaza with different shops so there’s plenty of parking.

We’ll definitely be back to try all the other foods!

Im not hue but my wife is so I pretty familiar with eating hue food. I think the food is pretty decent. Fresh and food looks very clean and presentable. Bun Bo hue did lack some lemon grass flavor but definitely filling and tasty. The mi Quang was good as well. Banh IT Ram was Nice and crispy and not too oily. Banh nAm was good and so was the banh cuon thit. Service was fast and friendly. Only thing wasn’t great was the bun thit Nuong. Great place for good hue food in my opinion.

Huong Giang Restaurant in Westminster, CA, is a well-known spot for authentic central Vietnamese cuisine, particularly dishes from the Huế region. Located at 14564 Brookhurst St, this family-run establishment has garnered a mix of reviews over the years. Many patrons appreciate the authentic flavors reminiscent of central Vietnam. Good authentic Huế food. Reasonable price.

I’ve been a customer at Huong Giang for years, and today I’d like to share my overall experience dining here over time.

1. Their Bún Bò Huế is very good — the flavor is mild and not overly strong with fermented fish sauce (*mắm*). However, the consistency can be hit or miss. On some days, the meat is so tough and chewy that it’s nearly inedible. Other times, the broth can taste too plain.

2. On several occasions, I’ve noticed the cashier guy at the register coughing repeatedly into his hands without washing them afterward. He then handled money, touched counters, served food, and cleaned tables.

3. Just a few days ago, I saw one of the servers cutting chicharrón with his bare hands — no gloves. He had just finished cleaning tables and serving food and didn’t wash his hands before touching the food.

Overall, I truly hope the owner puts more focus on food safety and hygiene practices. The food here is good, and with a bit more attention to cleanliness, the dining experience could be even better.

Food is decent. Banh loc Tran was very good. So was Banh Beo…

Banh uot Tom was dried.

Bun bo hue tasted alright, broth was nothing special, but at least it got lot of topping

Com hen was also decent.

Che hat sen was too sweet and hard . Don’t order it.

Vietnamese coffee was bitter, not enough condense milk

If anywhere else, the food rating would be 4+. Located in the heart of VNese food mecca, there are other exceptional restaurants with better Hue’s dishes
