This place is absolutely amazing — Charleston truly needed this! The food is incredibly delicious and so authentic. Every bite was full of flavor, and we’ll definitely keep coming back just for those dishes!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were so kind and friendly. They even surprised us with free baklava, which was absolutely delicious!

Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful food and a great dining experience!

By far the best döner / shawarma / gyro (whatever you call it) I’ve ever eaten in US. Both white and spicy dreasing was ver delicious. Vegetables were fresh and the meat was BEYOND! Definitely worth to try if you haven’t already.

Nice to sit outside- tables have umbrellas for shade.. The wraps were absolutely delicious, we tried beef/lamb and chicken. One thing – they could add more fries, they only give you a few in the wrap instead of a portion/serving of fries.

As one who really enjoys Halal foods and trying the various food trucks across the Carolinas, I can confirm this truck is worthy of every 5* review. I ordered the chicken wrap with everything offered on it, my husband ordered the beef/lamb wrap with no veggies. Both are absolutely exceptional, providing a rich tapestry of flavor, layered textures, bursts of heat that hit in delayed rounds. Thank you, Berliner Döner House, for giving me the lunch I didn’t know I needed.

The doner was delicious and juicy! I ordered it with lamb and beef, and it was very filling. The baklava was sweet and soft as well. This place is perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner, and the staff were very friendly.

Awesome shawarma wrap be it chicken or lamb/beef. The portion is very big hence the $12 – $15 price range. If you don’t eat much best to have them cut the shawarma in half. Also, just like the authentic doner in Europe, they put crinkle fries in the wrap. I wish they have a side order of fries instead because once you mix the fries in the wrap, you don’t taste the crispiness of the fries anymore.

I had their chicken and rice but not much of a fan of their rice. The rice taste okay. I just like the chicken and rice at Istanbul Shish Kabob across the street.

They have maybe a table or two for me people to sit on but they may be occupied all the time from people waiting on their food. So best not to plan to eat there. You can probably take it to the food court inside of the tanger outlet to sit instead.

Very friendly and nice people. Good service and good people. I eat there every week. And the food is halal too.

The customer service at this food truck was seriously top notch. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. Even with a line, they kept things moving and still took the time to be kind and helpful with everyone. You don’t always expect that kind of service from a food truck, but they really went above and beyond.

And the food wow. It came out fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they know what they’re doing back there. Everything was full of flavor, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. It’s one of those spots where you take the first bite and already know you’ll be coming back.

Fresh, Flavorful, and Generous Portions.

We ordered the lamb and beef döner wraps, and they are huge.

Instead of serving pre-cooked, reheated slices, they cook, slice, and serve the meat fresh as original Turkish döner, giving it a juicier, more flavorful bite. They also offer chicken döner if you want to mix it up.

The sauces are a must. The white sauce adds creaminess, while the spicy red sauce packs a kick and boosts the flavor profile. Combined with the soft yet slightly crunchy bread, fresh greens, fries, and pickles (ask for “all in”), the perfect balance of textures.

This isn’t your traditional Turkish döner, it has more of a German twist. So if you’re expecting an exact replica of the Turkish street food classic, you might notice some differences, but the taste is still solid in its own way.

While it’s not the cheapest option in town, the quality of the meat and freshness make it well worth the price. Charleston doesn’t have many places offering döner, so it’s great to finally have this addition. Definitely recommended. We will be back.. Ah, try the sarma (desert) if you like pistachio..

I had the beef and lamb doner wrap and a slice of baklava. So good! This place is a food truck by the flag pole at the outlet mall. The baklava was nothing like others I’ve had before, it was very flavorful and moist!
