Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy but not crowded. It’s a solid spot if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Houston.
Would definitely come back to try more dishes.
From the moment you walk in, the excellent ambiance sets the mood—stylish, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The Thai food is packed with bold, authentic flavors, every dish tasting fresh and spot-on. What really elevates the experience is the awesome courtesy of the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great vibes, great service, and seriously delicious food. Zaab Station is definitely a place you’ll want to come back to (your taste buds will insist).
Everything else was pretty good – especially the papaya salad.
The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and tang, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The Drunken Noodles had a delightful spice that kept us coming back for more, while the Golden Dumplings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with savory goodness.
The Tom Yum Soup was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect combination of sour and spicy notes. And don’t even get me started on the Crispy Chicken Larb—a crispy, zesty explosion of flavors that was simply unforgettable.
Zaab Station has truly mastered the art of Thai cuisine. If you’re in Katy and craving bold, authentic Thai flavors, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
We started with the Tom Yum soup and Papaya salad, which were absolutely fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was stunning. I recommend the soup with both chicken and shrimp, it will cost extra but it’s amazing.
For our main courses, we ordered the Basil Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai and Red Curry with chicken. All the dishes were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Basil Fried rice is particularly memorable with its unique blend of spices. This has become a constant for our repeated visits.
The service is impeccable. Our server (Sam and the group) is always (every visit) attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are able to make excellent recommendations and ensures we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
It was clear that the owner’s passion for authentic Thai cuisine shone through in every dish. We learned that the owner moved from Los Angeles to Houston to bring a taste of authentic Thai food to the city, and it certainly shows!
Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Thai dining experience.
