This was a pleasant surprise. I wasable to get a fried chicken meal, and others got to enjoy burgers. Everything was delicious. The young lady who took our order was very pleasant. I wish we had one near us!

The lady at drive through was great. I order double biscuit and gravy. Got food checked it there was something on it that should have been gave it back and drive through. She told them to remake it. Well instead of them remake it the took off what should have not been there and throwed food in new box. It’s very sad.

This is part of my road trip series traveling through Mississippi and Alabama on the way to Memphis. We went through the entire state of Alabama so when we got here we were hungry.

We stopped here. Never even heard of the place but we in an adventure. We walked in and was greeted like they were happy to see us. I think there was a couple of people there. The place looks almost new and modern. The dining room has a nice flair to it.

I ordered chicken because I didn’t want a burger. Don’t even know if they had any burgers honestly.

I got a two piece dinner. Breast and Wing with Cole slaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. Their side choices were limited. Sometimes you don’t want fries. It also came with a biscuit and a drink. The chicken was cooked nice. Crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Biscuit was good with some jam. Mashed potatoes was standard but the coleslaw was horrible and I rarely say that about food. It had no love in it at all. In fact it had no mayonnaise either. Seems like it was just vinegar and no seasonings. Bland and very hard and chewy not crunchy. Either use some Mayo, sugar, vinegar and other stuff or stop selling it. Some people genuinely like Cole slaw.

Other than that this place is a go. Also they have old fashioned hand dipped ice cream. Now where do you find that in a fast food restaurant? No where.

This is the second Jacks restaurant we have visited and we stopped at this one for breakfast on our way to Florida. I got the deluxe breakfast and the rest of my crew got breakfast biscuit sandwiches. I enjoyed the deluxe breakfast, it was good and for the price you seem to get quite a bit of food with it. Everybody else enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches too. They also had good coffee that wasn’t too hot and didn’t taste burnt. Overall good stop and will visit this location and/or others in the future.

Southerners style food I recommend . This is diferent flavor, different taste from chicken, mash potatoes, biscuit, salad and macaroni and cheese. Church fry chicken, Kentucky or Popeyes are completely different taste and flavor. This particular place is super clean ,all areas inside or outside, employees service very professional, store decorations and style is beautiful and peaceful, handicap parquing, and big parking lot for customers.

Ordered a 10 piece family meal. Took nearly 30 minutes. Why?
I stood back from the front counter while waiting on my food. And heard them say, while boxing up others food, that they would just go ahead and do theirs because it was easier because they just had two pieces and three pieces. Customers that came in after me. Ordered after me. Paid after me. One of the first guests to come in after me, got their food, sat down, ate, and were gone, while I was still standing and waiting. Mine was less convenient, so they just didn’t care to deal with it. Heard them say it out loud. Awful customer service. When this place opened, it was a circus. They slowly got better over time. Now we are getting back to how it was in the beginning. A shame, because I like the food. But it’s almost not worth the hassle at this point

This is not a reflection of the staff, although there was a particular employee who let her frustration and the rudeness of a customer push her to provide less than stellar service. This place is poorly managed and clearly understaffed and I’m not a believer of the “no one wants to work” argument. No one wants to work for poor wages. If you charge $7 for two biscuits you’ve got $2.50 in, you’re clearing about $4 to use towards things like wages, utilities, etc. $4/ order and there were 8-10 orders pending through drive thru and in store in the 15 mins I was in the store. That’s $36-40 which translates to $144-160/ hr to put towards wages, utilities, etc. Thats on an order that makes $4 after food costs are deducted. The reality is, most orders have a higher net revenue than $4. Pay a fair wage, get more customers, get more satisfied customers, get better google reviews. Wait times attached for drive through and in store.
