Its a fast food chain sub place. They have pre-made/? Menu options that are made fresh or you can build your own. These are a bit pricey. My husband and I stopped here for lunch ans spent over $30 which is crazy as we were not full either. The restaurant was super clean and a little busy due to the lunch rush starting. Staff were very nice and super patient with us. We do like the kettle chip options and you have the opportunity to make a lunch a bit healthier by cutting the bread. But I’m not rushing to try this place again, kind of a one and done situation.

Amazing experience, and this Jersey Mikes has now become our new go to sub sandwich place. Never had them before, but easily outshined jimmy John’s and subway across the street. Fantastic sub with fantastic flavor. Everything tasted so fresh and enjoyable. Ordered on the app for pickup, so I can’t comment on the staff/environment, bu the food was fantastic. Reasonably priced, as my wife and I shared a giant size sub.

So years ago I tried a different location.. and needless to say I wasn’t satisfied at the other location.
Fast forward to 2025 and Jersey Mike’s Tuna sub went viral. So I thought I’d give them a second chance. They opened a brand new location, near the first of the year, at 83rd Ave and Thunderbird.
Let me just say I am happy that I gave this location a try. The atmosphere was great. The crew was absolutely helpful (since it was my first time in at this location). They were open and welcoming.
So I ordered (out of my comfort zone) the #10 Tuna, that came recommended in a viral vlog. And let me say I was absolutely satisfied with the sub!
I highly recommend checking out Jersey Mike’s subs.. and look up the viral tuna sub video online. Here’s what I ordered;
#10 Tuna on Rosemary parm bread, vinegar, oil, oregano, salt, banana peppers, dill pickles, CPR (chopped pepper relish), honey mustard and lettuce.

The customer service was on point from the moment I walked in, and the team paid close attention to every detail. My order was made exactly how I asked, the ingredients were fresh, and the staff treated me with real care. It felt like they wanted to make sure everything came out perfect. Whoever was working on July 16 2025 at 12:40 needs to learn how to make a sandwich.. they had 3 people up front doing a 2 man job- nobody was checking out at the cash register. 1 person slowly slicing meat, another one sloppily and slowly putting together sandwiches, and another girl who’s entire job was to wrap the sandwich in the paper, and she genuinely couldn’t even fold them correctly. I lost brain cells watching it. Service used to be real good when this place opened up a few months ago, employees were nice and efficient. So I’ll start off by saying Jersey Mikes is one of my favorite sub shops. I was excited to see one opening so close to me. Overall it’s pretty good with one small exception. This was my third visit, so I figured it’s time to review. The first two visits my sub was drenched in “the juice” this is their oil and vinegar mix. My subs were so wet I thought I’d have to start collecting pairs of animals wet. So my third visit I asked for light juice, but when they applied it he shook those jars like a Polaroid picture. I think the sub makers need a bit of training on how much juice to apply. I think if they get that down this place could earn 5 stars.

I was happy that a Jersey Mikes opened close to me on 83rd Ave & Thunderbird since we always went to another location that was further away prior. The service has been horrible. Tried to give it some time since they just opened and went back to see if it was better now but it’s not. After going three different times and having issues each time, I will not go back to this location. First time I tried to place an online pickup order, they put two pending charges on my card but said they never received the order. Second time they gave me the wrong sub and last time I waited a long time for my order. They kept giving everyone else their order and when I asked about my order they said we didn’t make it but will start now.

I do not leave reviews unless something good or bad had taken place. This location has rude employees. A girl and the man working there were rude and talking back to two other girls while ordering their food. They asked questions about putting avocado on their sandwich and the girl behind the counter continued with a bad attitude, she even flailed the bag the sandwich goes into and you could tell she was not happy. If you’re going to be working in customer service treat others with respect and stop being rude to others. If you’re having a bad attitude keep that at home and don’t be rude to others regardless of what is going on in your life.

Was so excited to see a jersey mikes down the street from me! Came opening day to get my usual BLT but the bacon wasn’t loaded up like usual and the bacon was not crispy like usual. It was soft and had to pull most of it off. I love jersey mikes bacon cause they load it up and super crispy! But it almost seemed like the fake bacon you get at Subway. I still gave it five stars because service was great and I love jersey Mike’s subs, I am just going to say that it was an opening day fluke so I will try again next time lol

The 99 here is to die for! Spending 10 years in Allentown, PA I grew a liking for Cheese Steaks. Every place claims to be authentic. But couldn’t get a good one anywhere in Phoenix and surrounding. Till I had a customer buy me a 99. Top Of the Line!
