Delivery, Papa Joe’s is a must have for all residents of Napa. Some of us have been ordering this pizza since days spent at home sick during elementary school, it isn’t till you get older that you try loads of other pizza spots from other towns, cities, and countries. Papa Joe’s still stands apart. My guess is that their ovens must be really unique.
My go to order is one my cousin turned me onto a while ago, pepperoni, jalapeno, and pineapple pizza. “Burn it” style. There is nothing else that hits my taste buds the same (And yes I’ll post pictures as well).
I’ve been to 30+ counties including Italy and while ever pizza in every location can have its own unique qualities that make it special, I was blown away by the simple fact that no matter what I tried I would still crave my lil pizza place back home if not the same amount even more so now. It’s just really really unique pizza.
Whenever someone is visiting from out of town they always have that look in their eyes excited to hear about what we are eating later, and without fail every time I say “of course we’ll get Papa Joe’s later.” Haha.
I had a group of Canadians come visit recently and we did a fun wager on whether or not Papa Joe’s would beat out the top pizza place in Vancouver and aside from one holdout it was widely embraced as some of the best pizza they had ever had.
Usually when people come to visit and Napa is full of rich unique cuisine, you think the last take away will be a pizza place no bigger than a hole in the wall to blow minds the way it does. Do yourself a favor and try the pizza. Get it well-done or burn it. You’ll thank me later.

Normally I receive great food from Papa Joe’s, however, tonight my $52. dollar pizza was delivered cold, majorly overcooed, burnt and way too much red sauce. Additionally, my salad was shoved into a very small contaiiner with a large amount of onions and lettuce hanging out of the container. I cannot believe I was charged $52. Dollars for this horrible meal and feel I should be reimbursed. Higher prices with non-existent customer satisfaction and business owners could care less. How much longer should we take this before we decide to boycott those places that chose this type service.

This place is the real deal. There are other pizza places around the area (a lot of them chains), but we wanted to try a locally owned spot (they’ve been around for 40 years). And after trying the pizza I can see why they’ve been around that long!!! Pizzas were delicious. High quality dough, high quality pepperoni. Easy to order by phone. Really recommend it!! Will be ordering again!!

Management, thank you for responding. Yes it says ‘prices have changed’ on the website. Although it is not clear whether or not the menu listed the old or new prices? And really hot that hard to update the menu. Also, I was charged $28 before tax when I was in the store/called in my order. Not the same as ordering online.

If you go through the process to order online it is $26.25. I ordered over the phone and it was $28+. The guy at the counter said they had just changed their prices… but not that difficult to get them updated online. Very bad customer experince. Get it together people!

The pizza was absolutely delicious!! It was our first time ordering from there. The green peppers on top were sooo good- chopped and plentiful. We also had mushrooms, onions and the pepperoni was all around the crust edge… just thinking about it, makes us want to go back!!…..ohhh and the cheese!! We ordered the XL and finished it all.
It’s a pick-up pizza shop only, no dine-in. But we only needed pick-up. We rate this pizza a 10 ! We will be ordering from here again when we go back to Napa.

Sufficiently Sauced
Great food, good prices, nice staff. Pizza quality is consistent but sometimes you get a slice from a pie that must have been oiled a tiny bit too much and the whole top sheet of cheese starts sliding off, but it’s not an every slice occurrence.

Great pizza every time many different combinations great salads average price and if you save 12 receipts your 13th Pizza is free. My favorite is pepperoni and jalapeno well done. 13th Pizza is free if you pick up they will charge a delivery fee if delivered clearly states that inside.
