I have frequented this restaurant since I was a child. I remember one time as a kid yelling at my grandpa to stop eating my queso (yes, I ordered just that as my meal).
I will say that yes, they do microwave some items and then bring it to the stove/grill top. However, I could not care less because everything I’ve eaten from this establishment has never disappointed me.
This location is family run and has always been so friendly and welcoming. I do not have a single complaint. Visit them and show them some love!

Walked out as soon as I saw tacos were $6.25 a piece… in what world is that okay?! Do yourself a favor and drive minutes further to Taco Daddy. Tacos are $3 a piece and great quality!!

Food not bad at all but it is for white people, looks as if it would be a very authentic place but really not for real Mexican taste. $6 per taco, payed $40 for mediocre burritos. Service was good, definitely a white people spot.

This is the most authentic tacos in the area. Treat yourself and sit at the bar to watch the master of his craft work his magic. Hands down best tacos in Harahan! Great tequila selection as well.

Longer version: We gave the place 30 minutes notice of our party of nine on a Friday night and they were delighted to accommodate us and ready for us when we arrived. The various dishes that we ordered arrived quickly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything that they ate. Honestly, with this location and the one on Severn, I don’t know why I ever go anywhere else when I want Mexican food. Excellent!

Had dinner Friday night it was a bit late in the evening but we felt welcome. The margarita was just right. Dinner was guacamole and chips and tacos (fish, pork & beef tongue). Food was fresh & very tasty. We’ve been here a few times, it’s close to home and local. One of our faves.

Got the California burrito for dinner, to echo another poster we saw them putting the whole burrito in a microwave, major turn off. Taste was edible but nothing to get too excited about. Left disappointed because we saw this place had 4.5 stars at the time so I’m not sure where the discrepancy is coming from.
