OMG…I wish I had come here so much earlier as I know they’ve been open for some time. We got 2 bowls, one with jerk chicken and the other with sauteed chicken. Both also had coconut rice and they were suggested by the young man behind the counter as they’re a speciality on certain days. The owner also came out and gave us samples of yum yum puff puffs. Everything is so very fantastic, from the fabulous food to the outstanding service! Will absolutely be back!!!

Very great place the food is great. They take their time and make sure your food is very fresh. Best salads in Michigan chicken is moist on the salad. Food is homemade. I love the jerk sliders. You can get them in mouth or spicy delicious The owner make sure things are just right they even have the homemade fries. Everything homemade now.

The staff is so friendly! The food was delicious and there are a lot of choices – something for everyone. There were multiple vegetarian and vegan options. The playlist was weirdly good too. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla, size of my hand, $9.53. It was ok, too overated, taste Allright, but such a small portion for that price. When I got my container, it felt light as a feather….(need to add double the chicken at least)…and that’s being nice. I’ll try something else next time….

I had an amazing experience at The Luda’s! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top-tier. The owner, Luda, is a genuine and welcoming person who truly cares about his customers. He treated me with respect, made sure everything was right, and you can tell he takes pride in his business.
The food was absolutely — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was on point. You can taste the quality and the love put into it. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a vibe.
It’s always great to support a Black-owned business that’s doing things the right way. Luda is an amazing man running an amazing establishment, and Detroit is lucky to have this spot.
If you’re in the city and want great food with even better service, The Luda’s is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

I was excited we finally made it here. I love that this is black owned their a family. I also love that they have a variety of options. They offer vegan, salads, wraps beef and chicken. They also have sweets like milkshakes and puff balls, which are donuts. The wait is about 15 to 20 minutes price is range from $8-$20. I spent $27. We enjoyed the food. We love the bread. The sandwiches were good. We wished it could’ve been a little bit more meat. We love the thick cut fries, I wish they had a little bit more Cajun seasoning. we thought that the the food would come in a containers that were advertised on the menu with the name of the restaurant on it instead of plain plastic plastic bags and plain paper bags. We are going back to try some milkshakes. The place was really quiet. We ran around 10/11am. It was just two workers. They really didn’t say much of anything. it’s a quiet place.

I stopped here on a Thursday around 3:20 PM and got the jerk chicken sliders, Cajun fries, and a lemonade. The drive thru took about 20 minutes and there was only one car in front of me, but it did look like they had a huge order. I LOVED the Cajun fries. They had the perfect amount of seasoning and a slight crunch to the outside which is delicious. I got the spicy jerk chicken sliders without the jerk sauce (since i don’t really like sauce) and they were really good!! There was a woman who double checked with me at the window that I didn’t want sauce which I appreciated haha. I also really like the lemonade because it tastes fresh and it’s not overly sweet! I would definitely stop back here! 🙂

The owner is incredibly kind and genuine; you can truly see his passion for his craft and his care for his customers. I mentioned that today was my first visit, and he made me feel so welcome. He kindly offered me samples of a few items he’s considering adding to the menu, and they were delicious, by the way. I really hope he adds the coconut chicken with rice and the jerk chicken with rice to the menu! I’ll definitely be returning, not just for the great food, but also for the warm hospitality of the owner.

if i could give this place 10 stars i absolutely would. i drove 47 minutes when i saw an add for this place and i will absolutely be making this drive again. we were greeted by the owner and every worker had so so much respect for not only myself but also for all the workers aswell. the food so AMAZING and the building is so clean. lovely music and food came super fast and while i waited for my food i also was givin samples which were just as good as the food i ordered. i 100% recommend this loval family owned resturant!!!
