Another thing I appreciated: the staff. I noticed several women working, and the cashier in particular was incredibly polite, friendly, and patient in answering all my questions.
I’ve been meaning to try this spot for a while—especially since my husband’s family is from Guatemala—but we hesitated because of some mixed reviews. Shame on us for waiting so long. We’ll be back on Wednesday… and again after that.
Highly recommend giving this place a try.

I was so disappointed with this place. We ordered 4 tacos and a stuffed pupusa, and at first, I was looking forward to the meal. But as I sat down to eat, I noticed the owner unloading food boxes from a pickup truck. One box looked like it had unfrozen raw burgers just sitting in a bag, another box had flies all over it, and one even appeared to have a large stain that looked like blood. It was extremely off-putting, and I completely lost my appetite.
Such a shame—I was visiting family on Long Island and decided to give this spot a try, but it ended up being a waste of $30. Picture shows the owner talking to the the women inside and she walked to the back of the truck where he unloaded the unrefrigerated boxes of meats

This taco truck is . The best authentic tacos on LI. I would recommend the Al Pastor with pineapple and steak tacos. Birria is great as well.

The Pupusas stole the show. Had the Pupusas Revuelta. They were cheesy and the pork was well seasoned. The coleslaw they give you is really good. With the Jalapeno kick.
Met El “Oso” Grande , had a great chat about his truck and his love for Puerto Rico .

Happened to be near this spot so I had to stop and check it out. crahave been craving tamales and chicharrones for awhile now so that is what I went with despite the award winning taco signs. The tamales were good. I got the pork and the chicken and if I had to choose one it would be the pork. They were good and definitely satusfied my craving but i wouldnt come back just for them. The chicharrones were insane and I will easily say they are the best that I have ever had. Not only are they delicious on their own but they come with guacamole, salsas, and tortillas that were all delicious. I’m hoping to be back soon and check out their tacos because they did look amazing I just needed to satisfy my tamales craving. Next time will be a big order of tacos and definitely another order of the chicharrones. It’s a takeout spot but there are scattered tables and chairs to sit at.

Hands down best chicharron I have ever had! Have with some guacamole n home made tortillas and it elevates it that much more!!! Also amazing Cuban sandwich! Can’t wait to go back and try more!
