This is by far my favourite breakfast place! The food is always great and the menu has a perfect selection of choices for breakfast or lunch and dinner. The atmosphere feels like your actually having breakfast with family, it’s so warm and inviting there as well as the staff treating everyone like family…these are the reasons I drive from Mount Forest to Durham just for this awesome experience everytime! It’s never a hit or miss kinda place, it’s a HIT always!

2025/05/22 Stopped to try this restaurant. Very friendly server. Food was okay. Hot Beef sandwich with fries and carrots and gravy. Coffee. Pumpking Pie a la mode. I enjoyed it very much and will return to this establishment. Loss one star as the fries appeared to be frozen fries, heated.

Has everything I love about good old fashioned diner. Good fun. Was greeted enthusiastically and it sets tone!!! Ordered the banquet burger and it was no disappointment. Cooked perfectly, juicy and great flavour. Nice salad that was fresh and it was like it was just made. Great.

Went to this restaurant for breakfast with my family and their food was so good and portions are fairly big. Service was exceptionally great. This place was really busy but service was really quick. Recommend this restaurant with five stars and will definitely return.

Unpretentious homely breakfast joint with options for a quick brunch or lunch. No vegetarian options. Had the cauliflower cheese soup and the tomato harvest soup. Both soups were tasty with a touch of eating home cooked food. Had the peameal bacon which is truly Canadian. Would recommend it for a Canadian breakfast.
