Sean was great, and the cooks are perfect for the job. Give them a raise once more and more people start showing up here.
We ordered the chicken avocado curry, duck curry, and herbal lemonade. All excellent. The chicken avocado curry was rich, creamy, and comforting without feeling heavy, and the duck curry had deep flavor and perfectly cooked duck. The duck was tender and juicy. I loved it the most.
Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the spice level was spot on.
A must dine in place in Fairhaven Village Green!

This is, hands down, the best Thai food in Bellingham, and truly among the best in the entire Pacific Northwest. Thai cuisine is one of our favorites, and Chef Usanee and her team consistently exceed every expectation. The dishes are fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented, and the flavors are extraordinary. The ambiance is equally stunning…art-infused, welcoming, and rich with cultural beauty. A spectacular experience all around! Thank you !!!

The deco is fantastic a good mix of local artists and traditional Thai pieces. The food is very very good. I had the shrimp fresh rolls and the Khanom Jeen which is a tasty salmon curry with noodles. Looking at the menu I don’t think anyone can order anything wrong. According to the front house staff member the owner-chef really focuses on the curries while her son does the stir fry so no matter what it’s gonna be good. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be back!

Came here on a whim while on a girls trip here for the weekend and walked around Fairhaven. The food was great! I ordered the Chicken Avocado Curry as well as the herbal lemonade and they were delish. The Curry was so creamy and tasty and not too rich or spicy. Something I did not expect in my curry was that the chicken was a full drumstick hidden like treasure under the veggies, I probably would’ve preferred to have it detached from the bone and mixed with the veggies but it still tasted good and came easily off of the bone. The herbal lemonade was unique and refreshing. My friend also let me try her veggie spring rolls and they were tasty. My friends all enjoyed their respective meals which I’ve labeled and provided pictures of 🙂 the portions were huge and we were able to take a lot home with us.

Best Thai in Bellingham! The space is modern yet cozy with some beautiful art on the walls. Food is very authentic with a balance of flavors and not at all oily. Are dishes are very fresh and served hot. Quantities are generous and great value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

New restaurant, nice food. Not outstanding- a B grade as one table mate put it. We had : Duck Noodles – bit bland but nice, a green curry which was nicely spiced, and a Phad dish with beef which was rated good (7/10).
We’d come back if a group wanted Thai/Laos but may not seek it out. Wine and beer were limited but okay – bit on pricey side. Would not recommend Young coconut water…

Quite delicious Duck Curry and Duck Noodle. We started with Tod Mun Pla but have a bag in the freezer at home with the exact fish cake. The duck was cooked well, perhaps 2oz in my curry and my wife’s noodles were slightly more at about 3oz. The veggies were flavorful, fresh and diverse with a medley of squash, mushrooms and pineapple. The host was gracious and kind, making a Thai iced coffee to order unsweetened.

I got the Gaang Kiaw Wan curry with tofu and it was so good! We shared a spring roll with tofu between 4 people which was also tasty. It was the best way to follow up a cold, snowy day at Mt. Baker! We met the Curry Queen herself and she was very sweet. Great food with a welcoming atmosphere!

Fresh Thai and Lao food. Had lunch here 3 times. The food was light enough for a hot summer day, eating out on the patio. Perfect for a winter take out lunch with Thai coffee.
Fast, friendly

I’ve tried more Thai and Laotian restaurants than I can count, and Maikham’s food is some of the best I’ve ever had – that includes Thai and Laotian restaurants all over Southeast Asia. Usanee, the head chef, makes the best curry I’ve ever had. The ingredients are local, the prices are great, and everyone who works there is so warm and welcoming. It may not have the candle-lit ambience of some other similar restaurants, but I assure you: the food is superior. Your taste buds will thank you, as will anyone you take to eat here. A+.
