This location is excellent. The elephant pad Thai was delicious. They also provide spice packets with take out orders so you can control how spicy the food is. I haven’t seen that at other Thai restaurants in Richmond. this location is a night and day difference from the one near Scott’s addition.

Had the buffet on the weekend. Food was good. Enjoyed the variety of thai food here. If you dont want just 1 order of food, its good to try all. Drinks are good too.

The entry/restaurant area appeared clean. I did not use the restroom but saw a review that caused me to hesitate to use…however the food was ‘ok’. I can’t say it was terrible but it certainly wasn’t the best Thai I’ve eaten in Richmond! I will say, I was immediately grossed out when the server brought me a fork and spoon wrapped in a napkin that was wrapped with hair! I hate loose hair and that in itself almost caused me to walk out. I asked her to leave it on the table to be sure she didn’t just remove hair and return with the same fork/spoon napkin. Time constraint caused me to stay, plus I’ve eaten here before. Once again, I couldn’t recall the ‘flavor’ so I stayed to give the benefit of doubt! They will take away items you’re using while you eat….so be aware, hoard the ‘soy sauce’ packets if you use them until you are done with them. I can’t say they were attentive either, she came to fill water one time. However I observed the waitress go to the other tables several times to check on guests…but not my (single black lady) table. She only came once to fill water and take away soy packets that I was using. I had to wave down the waitress for my check, that is how inattentive they were to me. Nothing to do with language barrier, so I hope they don’t write that in their response because it would be untrue!
The drinks (water and soda) are served in plastic cups (I don’t mind that!) and you pay $3 for a bottled 16oz coke! No refill available! It wasn’t the best Thai I’ve eaten but it wasn’t the worst either! I can’t say I’ll be anxious to return.

Love this place. It’s a great family-run spot among all the chains on West Broad. The buffet is fresh, tasty, has diverse selections, and is an unbeatable value. I really appreciate that they always have vegetarian options and have unique offerings like the sweet potato fried balls. Service is attentive and the atmosphere is cozy.

The food- by far the best Thai food in the Richmond area. Probably the top 5 Thai restaurants on Virginias eastern side up and down 95. As you can see the portion is huge and the taste is mind blowing.
What I don’t like is styrofoam cups, plastic cups and loud music. They have all 3, not a fan

This place is a hidden gem. They have a lunch buffet that is super varied. Tons to choose from and priced well. My personal fave is the hot and spicy noodle soup with chicken. I call an order in every time I’m sick and it fixes me right up. Staff is kind and welcoming. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

The server was rudely asking why I wasn’t tipped him. His service was bad- discriminatory behavior….
I had the same situation another day I went. The server should pay higher so that they don’t force and behave rude for tips for extra money. Tip is optional; but they thought it’s compulsory. They need to change their behavior. Very disappointing..

We sat down and ordered drinks and while we were getting food from the buffet, we saw a bug on the plates which is near the buffet, but because it wasn’t in the food we didn’t think anything of it (we honestly should’ve left right then). The buffet didn’t have many options, it was cold (usually buffets have warmers), and there was barely any food in the buffet trays. While we were sitting and eating we saw another bug crawling up the wall. The food didn’t have that much flavor as well. Overall this wasn’t a great experience and the bugs really freaked me and my friends out. It also wasn’t worth the price which is $20 for buffet with a thai iced tea.

Got the dinner buffet and the food was phenomenal, everything was yummy and flavorful and there was a good variety with classic Thai dishes like pad thai. The service was also excellent, we got our waters refilled frequently by the server even though we got the buffet. The napkins are also very good quality. I’d definitely come again!
