The service was excellent. The food was decent. We were greeted with the warm chips and salsa. As soon as we came to the restaurant it was really nice. The server regularly checked on us, asking us whether we needed anything else or not. Salsa could be a little more fresher. The spinach dip that we got was nice, it is a little more saucy than what we thought on the other hand. The quesadilla was decent. It was not the best quesadilla I’ve ever had or the worst queso I’ve ever had so I would give the food a decent ranking. The restrooms were clean as well. What A particularly liked about the restaurant was the server regularly came and asked what we needed. The drink was really nice. It was the special drink that they have which is once a week.

The employees here are always so awesome with my kids and me… they have our orders memorized and knows all their names(teenage boys) I have never had bad food from here, also… BEST margaritas I’ve ever had!!

we have been lucky, and by that I mean 5 days before we ate here we ate in a Mexican restaurant that we beleved that was the definition of Mexican food in the US, and doubt it could be matched and it was. Atmosphere in El Patron was great the facilities well taken care of, the staff very friendly and accommodating, prices really easy on the wallet, and the meal was great, astounding. I’m old and love Mexican restaurants and food, and now have to plan on hitting my 2 favorite Mexican restaurant, before I take the big plunge. We will be traveling the the same route next year and will be back.

Great restaurant! The service is impeccable and always friendly and professional. The food is delicious, I just wish they offered more traditional dishes as opposed to the Midwestern version of “texmex” that they serve. Like I said, great restaurant, I highly recommend.
