No. My review for this place is, no.
I don’t normally slam a restaurant. But there was nothing good about this one. Walked in and the floor was sticky. It was like walking into a movie theater. I should have clued in then. My daughter and I were out for a Mother’s Day lunch. The only thing she wanted was clam straps. The cashier did not know the difference between clam strips. They have two kinds, but she couldn’t answer a question about them. Know your food if you work in a restaurant. We ordered the Fisherman’s Catch. Didn’t have to wait long. Fried food is fried in grease. I understand this, but it should not literally be leaving oil everywhere. The clam strips and there was a piece of something on there that we still haven’t figured out that was not on the menu, possibly squid? were undercooked. The butterfly shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. The only thing really edible in the whole basket was the deep fried oysters. They were okay. The fish that is supposed to be so fantastic there, the coating literally slid off of it. The fish itself tasted fine. The coleslaw and sauces were good , I’ll give them back. But there was nothing good about the meal as a whole, except for the French fries. They were not greasy, and they were tasty. But they’re the kind you can pick up in the grocery store in the frozen foods aisle. We packed up our food and left and went somewhere else for our Mother’s Day lunch. We contemplated complaining, but we seriously did not want to wait for more greasy food. We will never return to this place and we highly highly do not recommend it.
In the same area, about 100yards away, we found a wonderful place that the food was fantastic and we very much enjoyed our Mother’s Day fish and chips lunch.

Located right at the harbor, I’ve walked by this spot numerous times, and finally went in.
The staff were friendly, and the food came out quick and hot.
I ordered the single serving of fish and chips, and it was a huge portion (could have definitely fed 2). The fries were good, a little on the salty side, and the fish tasted great. My favorite was the clam chowder, some of the best in Bellingham.
Great location, they have sliders that open to the outside, in the summer to have Al fresco dining.

A nice spot to eat after walking around. Plenty of space, lots of outside seating.

Had a grilled ham & cheese. Came with no fries or soup option– had to pay full price for that separately. Basic sandwich, tasted ok, but way overpriced ($13.50) for what it is by itself. No WiFi. Clam chowder seems to be homemade. Good texture, chunks of clam in each bite. But somehow the clam flavor isn’t there. I think it’s drowned out by the cream or maybe they don’t use clam juice in the preparation. Atmosphere is kind of noisy, cold. Overall not a fantastic experience– I think they cater mostly to people living on boats with fewer options. Add a small cup of chowder or offer fries with it, keep price the same, and provide wifi, and I’d be back. Otherwise, nah, there’s a million better places in town.

Good place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s close to the bay and to watch boats coming and going, I enjoyed my experience. This restaurant is highly recommended. The staff is awesome!

If you at any point find yourself writing a nasty review online about a local business, it’s probably time to work in food service or get to know someone who does.
I’ve always loved eating at the Weblocker, my grandpa and dad have ate here for years too. Always been a happy customer and there’s no place like it. Food is delicious and the staff is generous and hardworking and the place is cute and unique.
Prices are comparable or lesser to than the rest of town… Where else can you go to get $3 unlimited cups of coffee?

$75 for a soggy burger, rubbery fish and chips, and a bowl of chowder is insane. Mediocre food at unreasonable pricing. This place has really gone downhill.

What a disappointment. Place felt dirty, stray napkins blowing around on the ground. Bathroom was dismal. Food was greasy: French fries were undercooked and limp, were probly frozen store bought. My cod sandwich had these small, rock hard pieces of old overcooked batter in it! I literally almost cracked a tooth! It hurt! Had 4 pieces in my sandwich. I went to the cashier to report this and show her and she gave me a song and dance that it was probably just what I said it was. No apology. She seemed unconcerned like it was normal! Wow! The 2 cooks were standing right behind her, doing nothing, it seemed, as it was a slow time. They could’ve been cleaning the grease, at least!! Cashier said she would let the cooks know. Turn around and do that then!! I wasn’t looking for any kind of offer to discount my tab, but she could’ve at least acted concerned. I just thought the staff would want to know about “these rocks” to avoid others from maybe cracking a tooth.I just spent $53.00 for a bad experience, for goodness sake! I asked for the manager. Nope, not here. I would never recommend this place and will share my experience so others will have an informed decision on whether to eat here. I hope the manager sees this! The prices are expensive. I will gladly pay for good food, elsewhere! No tip for these guys!

This is a nice little breakfast/lunch restaurant right on Bellingham bay. Especially nice when they can pull up the garage doors and make it an open air outside seating restaurant. I only had the clam chowder this visit I will try some other other dishes the next time I come. I think this is the first time I’ve been here.
