Hold My Beer has a fun concept of throwing axes and playing games in an inviting environment. The establishment is a bar/ tavern offering many different types of local and craft beers; along with bar food! The drink menue is extensive and they catter more towards beverages. Dining options included pizza, Bavarian pretzels and wings. During my visit the food unfortunately wasn’t cooked properly. They may have been short staffed as we came in as a group of 20. The service was friendly, welcoming and prompt. Everything was super clean and well kept. The ax throwing is definitely the focal point of the bar. They have many other bar games as well including darts, checkers, slot machines and a whole slew of board games. Overall my experience was ok, I would just love for the meals to be better prepared!

We held a team building event at HMB and everyone loved it! The owners are all in on providing the best service and a tasty, high quality menu. Many of us had never thrown an axe in our lives, but had a blast learniing on the fly. We will definitely have more events there in the future. We highly recommend Hold My Beer for an event or just a great local place to hang out.

Had a blast at HMB. It was my first time doing the axe throwing and it was so fun, we had to come back a week later. Aaron (sp?) introduced himself to us and was super friendly. Just adding more to the amazing Midwest-kindness you find in Wisconsin 🙂
The axe throwing games were fun and easy to do. There’s definitely SOME skill involved but I somehow managed to accidentally throw an axe in the netting above (sorry about that!).
The selection of beers, ales, spirits were all great! All local stuff, which was even better! The prices were fair and it was very easy to help yourself.
If you’re around Kenosha, definitely stop by this place. You won’t be disappointed – I know I’ll definitely be back for an axe throwing and more cheese curds..

Very unique experience with the wristbands to tap your own beers, axe throwing, multiple games to choose from. This is definitely a group oriented place although the bartenders are great even if you wanna just pop in for a beer or two. Highly recommend will be visiting again for more axe throwing and to try the huge selection of beers

Grabbed pizza for carry out during Kenosha’s Restaurant Week and it was AWESOME! The crust is more like a pinsa which was the perfect mix of crunch and fluffy dough. Definitely coming back again!

With a party of 10 including 2 children.
Our lanes and tables were ready when we arrived after making a reservation on line.
I believe we may have ordered one or two of every item on the menu which we all shared, everything came out from the kitchen hot, timely, and was delicious!
Aaron was patient and very knowledgeable when training our group on the ac throwing. He went above and beyond to ensure each member of our party had a great experience! Even our two little guys!
I HIGHLY recommend Hold my Beer for Birthday Parties, a night out, but also feel it would be a great venue for a team building, activity or corporate event. We had a great experience, thank you to Aaron and the team!
