Me and my wife have been here a few times, as we try every local restaurant. And also restaurants in other city’s every week. LET ME TELL YOU, mancy’s is fantastic. Every time I’ve been here, the steak has been cooked to perfection and is booming with flavor. You must add a crust to your steak (in my opinion) as I also get it with all the “Fixin’s”. The appetizers are great, the steaks are great, the inside is beautiful, the staff is very very friendly, and the service is spot on. Also, the desserts are fantastic. This is one of the best places in town undoubtedly!

Everything we had was on point and definitely delicious. From start to finish, we loved everything. I will definitely be returning to try some other dishes. We ate so much we had no room for dessert, but next time, I’ll be trying something from that menu. 100% recommended.

Audrey was an excellent server! The bartender did an awesome job with his handcrafted drink he made for me….Wish I would have asked what his name was. And of course the food was amazing

The best part of the meal was the one thing I didn’t take a picture of, my filet mignon… it was fantastic, cooked to perfection, but the lobster tail was surprisingly lacking. The salad, although it sounded amazing, missed the mark slightly: cauliflower was overly roasted without enough actual flavor. The New York cheesecake was delicious…the very basic coffee was tasty but not worth the $5/cup price tag. The steak, baked potato, appetizer, and cheesecake were delicious and our server was fantastic, but overall, the original Toledo location is far superior.

I took my grandmother out to enjoy an evening of fine dining and fun for her birthday. Mancy’s in Toledo holds a special place in her heart, so I figured we should try the newest addition in Findlay.

Reservations were made online and where it asked for special occasions I noted that we would be celebrating her birthday. I was not sure what to expect from this, but figured since the restaurant asked for special occasions on the reservation that they would somehow find a way to acknowledge her on this evening, even if it was just to say that they noticed it on the reservation and wish her a happy birthday. At no point was there ever any acknowledgement, which was disappointing.

The restaurant really is beautiful. Very busy, but not crammed. I did appreciate that. The food, however, was subpar. My grandmother ordered the shrimp and grits, but was only able to take a few bites since it was so spicy. The description of the dish did say the shrimp were blackened, but this typically equates to some amount of Cajun seasoning with not much heat. While she’s no hot head, she does order her bloody marys spicy and does not typically shy away from spicy dishes.

I ordered the pasta di mare. It had a very nice presentation but severely lacked in seasoning. The whole plate was bland and I ended up eating about half while we conversed before deciding it just was not worth finishing.

I could have spoken up when the waitress came around to our table to check on us, but did not want to cast a negative spin on an otherwise great memory with my grandma, so that is on me. I would have expected the waitress to notice that both of our plates were only picked at, but she did not seem to correlate that with dissatisfaction.

10/10 for ambiance and the wonderful evening celebrating a great woman in my life.
3/10 for the meal that was incredibly disappointing for a Mancy’s restaurant.

I had a business luncheon. I ordered the loaded potato soup. It was excellent. I ordered the Panini sandwich. It was not good at all. Definitely would not order it again.

We love going to Mancy’s! The food is delicious. We all got very different dishes and everyone enjoyed it. We loved that it was quiet! Not like the rest of the restaurants around Findlay. Our server, Rasheem, was polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We look forward to going back!

My wife ordered a filet medium rare and upon arrival the server asked her to cut into the steak. An odd request. She cut and found it to be medium well. The server did offer to take it back however we needed to return to Detroit and unfortunately didn’t have the time. Couple of observations. One- Mancys is a steakhouse and supposedly a higher class of steakhouse. This was a bush league mistake. Two – the server and chef both knew of the mistake yet decided to plate the mistake and serve anyway. They didn’t do the right thing. Staff should have tossed the meat and fired up another, without putting the customer in a compromised position to accept the mistake.

We visited Mancy’s on a Sunday evening so the restaurant had only a limited menu. At first we thought this would be a disaster but we were pleasantly surprised with an amazing array of some of the best food ever. We were a group of 6 and we ate at the bar and watched football. The bartender Jen served us a multi-course meal starting with apps. We turned some meal items to shared apps too. We finished with an array of desserts.
The French onion soup was the best I’ve even had. It was not salty but instead a bit of sweet onion taste.
The mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat was another all time best. We got some deviled eggs with caviar and truffles.
We shared cauliflower gnocchi. Tuna, yum. Salads were excellent. Folks enjoyed the petite fillets and the pasta with shrimp. Dessert was excellent. The chocolate cake was good but not to-die-for. The cheese cake and the homemade ice cream were the bomb!
This place is highly recommended.
