Their baked/butterfly cut fish is amazingly delicious. No comparison of it. The price is very economical. Lamb Mandi is great too. Tomato sauce and yogurt sauce are very delicious too. Service is good. Atmosphere is below average but food is amazing it could be ignored.

I’ve eaten here and ordered their chicken hanith on many occasions! Each time it is absolutely delicious!! Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. The custom service is excellent, so friendly and very helpful! This will continue to be my go-to for all occasions and i would highly recommend it to anyone! Definitely a family favorite!

The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was soooo moist and tender. It looked like it might be very spicy but it wasn’t. It was very flavorful! We will be back!

I must say, this place is absolutely amazing! The meat here is so tender that it practically falls off the bone. I’ve had their chicken Mandi, hanith lamb, and grilled fish, and let me tell you, each dish has been a delightful experience. However, the all-time best dish I’ve had so far is definitely the chicken Mandi. I highly recommend it to everyone. Keep up the good work! ❤️❤️❤️

We got the chicken and rice platter to go, but I actually did not go inside, so I cannot attest to how the decor looks inside.

I’ll start with the good.
The chicken has a great flavor and even about 45 minutes later, when we started eating it, it was still juicy and not dry, which is great. The rice was fluffy and not mushy, so that’s good as well.

I will say that I was disappointed that the tray seemed like it was half empty to begin with. If they put it in a smaller dish, perhaps it would look more full, but I really wish for the size of dish we got about a half tray would be at least half full. It looked scarce. At least it tasted good.

Honestly, the food has nothing to do with authentic Yemeni cuisine. The flavors were bland, completely lacking the rich spices and taste you’d expect from real Yemeni dishes. Even the bread was cold, like it was made yesterday. I was really let down, and I’m definitely not coming back here again.

Best Hanith lamb and Grilled fish w/ rice in Houston. This is authentic Yemeni food! It was flavorful, tender, and packed with different spices. The aroma of the restaurant was very nice. The place itself was very clean and tidy, and a very relaxed place that you can come and dine with your friends. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the guy said Salam to us as soon as we walked in, and it just felt like such a nice place.

My absolute favorite . All other places would serve you the ordinary meet and rice , here you find the real authentic yemeni food.

Food is amazing. Had the Goat Mandi, Fish Mandi, and the Zurbian Chicken. The goat Mandi came with generous hunks of meat and importantly did not have the gamey-ness typically associated with Goat. The fish was likewise very well seasoned (just a tad salty imo). Lastly the Zurbian was heavily spiced and the chicken was falling apart tender.

The atmosphere isn’t much to write home about (think no frills cultural eatery) and I can’t comment too much on service because I got take out.

Highly recommend
