On 3/1/26 I ordered a chicken sandwich, large fries, and a large Coke at Burger King (Citrus Heights). The Coke was filled to the brim and leaking from the lid, dripping onto my seat and center console and leaving a sticky mess. When I got home it was completely flat and undrinkable, so I threw it out — for $2.50, that’s unacceptable. I’m not wasting my time going back for a refund. Suggestion: train staff not to overfill cups and to check carbonation before handing drinks out.

I used to love Burger King with the char broiled burgers but now a days they are barely keeping up. Their employees for the most part are kind of sketchy and the food has gone down hill! Take a look thier floors and dirty bathrooms. Frankly I’m surprised they are still around… sad

It takes a LOT for me to send food back, especially to a fast food restaurant, but this whopper jr from this BK was so disgusting I had to. The entire burger, not just the patty had been nuked in the microwave. Tge employee explained they do that to melt the cheese and he agreed it was nasty “that’s why he doesn’t order with cheese” bro.
The Mayo was that nasty translucent color and the bun was stuck to the patty. This is like bottom tier jail food. Nobody should serve this let alone charge money for it. Do better, BK. At least shoot for average. 0/5 and I’ll never go back.

This burger king made it so I will never go to another one again. They got my meal wrong the first time so I went in very respectfully and they fixed my order. So my daughter and I begin to eat in the car and I finally look down at my bread and there’s spots of mold on the bread. I’ve never been so disgusted by a fast food place and this one does not care about the food they service and also don’t care to get the orders correct in the first place…. Thumbs down for burger king.

I ordered an iced coffee with foam, and when they handed it to me, the foam was already dripping down the cup, messy and sticky. The fries were also given carelessly — some of them spilled onto the table when they passed the tray.
The employees looked annoyed and acted like they didn’t really want to be there.
Overall, very poor service and not a pleasant experience.

Last night was my fourth time at this Burger King DURING OPEN BUSINESS HOURS AND THEY WERE OF COURSE CLOSED.. The Business hours state it’s open until 11pm. I arrived 15 minutes before their scheduled closing time, all lights were on, cars in the parking lot, but yet no answer on the drive thru speaker, & front door was locked.. I understand certain situations may come up causing early closure. However, 4 times now? Every single time ive gone later at night they’ve NEVER been open till their scheduled close time. Last night there were 2 other cars waiting, & one car honking at the window. It’s ridiculous. So if you plan on eating here – JUST KNOW THAT YOU WONT BE HELPED OR SERVED IF ITS WITHIN 2 HRS OF THEIR CLOSING TIME. As for the food here, couldn’t tell ya because they never take my order. As far as customer service goes (or lack there of) I’d give ZERO stars. Bad business tactics in my opinion. Maybe the owner can find employees that actually want to work so he’s not losing business.

I had a terrible and disturbing experience at this location on August 12 at 10:15 AM. The drive-thru employee, Santos, first gave us the wrong order. When we politely explained that we received the wrong food, he became aggressive, yelled at us, and then called me “stupid.” I am pregnant, and his behavior caused me significant stress and emotional distress.
After his outburst, Santos slammed the drive-thru window shut. I am now deeply concerned that, out of anger, he may have tampered with my food, which is extremely alarming and unacceptable.
This behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unsafe. I expect management to investigate immediately, take strict action against this employee, and ensure such incidents never happen again.
I will not be returning to this location until I receive confirmation that this situation has been addressed seriously.

I passed by here two weeks ago with My Father on Thursday May 29th, 2025. I used three coupons to order, the first was the 8-piece chicken fries with large fries, the second was the 8-piece chicken nuggets with large fries as well, and the third coupon was the two Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers with medium fries and a medium drink. Overall, the service was good. By the way, this is one of the fast-food places that I went to growing up back in 2006 to 2010 with My Father. I used to live in Citrus Heights back then.
