Got the western burger, fries and a coke to go. Burger was cooked perfectly, tasted awesome, fries were hot and crispy. Service was quick and fantastic. Job well done. Definitely a spot to grab a quick lunch when out and about in the country

We were on our way from Canada to Oceanside, CA. Time for lunch and there are t many populated stops. This is a small hometown cafe, VERY friendly, very kind, very clean, and very yummy. Lots to choose from. I had a chicken fajita salad and my husband ordered a hamburger with soup and salad bar. He loved the homemade dumpling soup and the salad bar offered basic salad mixings, lettuce, tomato, beets, cucumber, pickles, and a few other things. Then my husband saw the chicken drummies which were fried drum side of the wing. He said they were so delicious that for sure we had to come back to this place next year when we come to Canada. When we arrived it was about 11:30 and there were only a couple people there. By noon there was t a table to be found! They do have a counter though which I’m sure would have been equally pleasant. Everyone in the restaurant was super friendly and welcoming. We chatted about our trip and when we had to leave everyone wished us a safe journey. Warm, friendly people in this town. We won’t forget it. We had a great waitress too. Very nice. We moved from a large table to a smaller one to accommodate a large party of 8 that came in. Everyone was so appreciative. We didn’t mind at all – we offered!

Cozy little small-town cafe serving delicious breakfast and lunch. I got Earl Grey tea, 2 eggs over-medium, bacon, and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was kind and quick.
