The BBQ was outstanding. It’s been the best I’ve tasted in Sumter. The brisket had a good taste but was a little tough. The mac & cheese was ok and the cabbage was delicious. The Karolina Krack tea is great but a diabetic’s nightmare. There wasn’t much of a variety of drinks for a diabetic either, just water. All in all, we will be back and hopefully the next dishes will be better and tender.

I’ve eaten here twice and got pulled pork and brisket nachos.. both were well worth the money. Very good smoky BBQ flavor. I’m from NC and have lived in Sumter since 2011. This is the best thing this city has right now. Seriously, it’s good.
Ketchup based sauce is sweet
Vinegar sauce has a good flavor, not overpowering.

When you walk into the restaurant you instantly get the “at home” vibe, very relaxed and comfortable. Friendly staff that will help you to understand southern hospitality if you’re from out of town. I’ve had the ribs, hash and rice, bbq sandwich, Mac and cheese, as well as fries. The ribs were tasty and properly cooked to fall off of the bone, they’re not my favorite style of rib but I did enjoy them. The classic sandwich really sets the tone for any BBQ joint and this one doesn’t disappoint. The vinegar sauce is good and not overpoweringly vinegar flavor like a lot of sauces you’ll find out there, but the mustard is my preferred. The fries are kind of fair style fries, so if you’re looking for plain flavorless crinkle fries; you came to the wrong place. Good experience all around. Beats the other competition in Sumter by a country mile. (Except for Maples) which is only open a limited time on the weekends and pick up only. Triple Bs is a great choice if you’re looking for some solid BBQ.

Both vinegar and tomato based sauces are very good. Baked beans are tasty, with slices of onions and chunks of pork. Mac and cheese is excellent with generous side portions and reasonably sized portions on the dinner plate . The sandwich roll is closer to a brioche, rather than a simple hamburger bun. Nice, family owned storefront with a country feel. We’ll return for more of their good food.

Was greatly disappointed after ordering two (2) brisket nachos noting BBQ brisket is one of my favorites and I needed a new place for brisket in Sumter. I received so much fat in my meal I wanted to take my two (2) orders back they were so fatty and in fact I never felt I received any brisket at all. I was disgusted at the price I paid for brisket nachos for this reason. I will never shop at one of Triple Bs restaurant nor take my family there ever because although I extended my trust I felt they were dishonest to provide me a meal as advertised. No brisket just a lot of fat in what is supposed to be brisket nachos. Honestly after buying two (2) brisket nachos I couldn’t tell you whether they serve good delicious brisket at one their restaurants or not because they failed to serve me any of their brisket just the chopped fat in their brisket nachos and disguised it with nacho cheese chopped up. I was greatly disappointed. I can see I am not the only one who has had bad service with this restaurant. What a shame.

If you’re a fan of BBQ that’s cooked to perfection, then you absolutely have to try out Triple B’s, Big Bad Bob’s BBQ! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and I can confidently say that it’s one of the best BBQ spots I’ve ever been to.
Let’s start with the star of the show: the brisket. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The meat was so tender and juicy, and the flavor was out of this world. I could tell that the brisket had been slow-cooked with care and attention (perfect smoke ring for anyone who truly knows BBQ), which made all the difference. It’s a must-try dish for any BBQ fan.
And as if the brisket wasn’t enough, the sides were just as amazing. The Mac and cheese was the perfect combination of creamy and cheesy. And the hash and rice was the perfect compliment to the smoky flavors of the meat, with just the right amount of flavor.
But what really sets BBB’s BBQ apart is the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff who were always ready to make recommendations and ensure that my experience was top notch. I was treated like family and that meant the world to me. I was told I couldn’t leave without trying their special sweet tea and man, they were right.
Overall, I can’t recommend BBB’s enough. If you’re a fan of BBQ and that little touch of southern hospitality to go along with it, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. The brisket alone is worth the trip, but the sides, friendly staff, and overall experience make it a true gem of a restaurant.

Excellent pulled pork and Mac n cheese. They have red and mustard bbq sauces with good flavor. I was satisfied with the portions. More of a takeout spot, but they have some limited seating. It’s very clean, and presentable and we will be back. If you are looking for a spot close to Shaw, check ‘em out.

What a Gem in disguise!! Y’all I had no idea about this place, my son recommended it, and it was amazing. Finger licking good! My husband loves him some ribs, so I wanted to find some locally, ON A WEDNESDAY, and that was a challenge until Triple B’s!! Folks were absolutely wonderful, I called my order in early, and it was ready on time!! Go check them out, highly recommended!
