Incredible food. The Caesar dressing was so punchy, fresh, and light without being sour, the focaccia was a perfect balance of soft and airy on the inside, with a beautifully firm crust. The pizza sauce was to die for, it had such a great texture and the flavor was perfect, not too sweet, and not too acidic. The Panna cotta had some really rich and bitter nibs on the top that paired perfectly with the rich and creamy base.
I highly recommend making a reservation, this is an intimate space with a small kitchen. They are also happy to accommodate guests with allergies. The kitchen and front of house staff did a phenomenal job.

Food was amazing! We sat at the bar – we were the first ones to go in once they opened but I would’ve made a reservation if I knew how packed it would get. We got the happy hour special of a focaccia and a glass of wine. It was so delicious! The atmosphere is very romantic. Perfect for date night.

The food was outstanding, we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching everyone work in the open kitchen. The restaurant was busy but the food came out fast. We enjoyed the ricotta spread with the fresh baked focaccia, and the classic Vito tomato pasta. The tiramisu was delicious as well – don’t skip it! We will be back to try the pizzas for sure!

The pizza was the clear highlight with generous toppings and bold flavors. The tagliatelle was recommended to us which was a good option if you want a smaller dish- we found it to be salty for our palates. The seating area was smaller than expected but cozy during my visit. Service was good but do note they automatically add a 20% gratuity to all orders.

Delicious! We made a reservation and were sat immediately; there were walk-ins happening around us and they seemed to able to accommodate no problem (weekday).
$150ish with tip, two slices, four appetizers, two drinks and dessert. Very reasonably priced for the quality and portion size! Great atmosphere, too. Service was friendly and everyone looked to be working like a team.
Do not miss out on the potato slice, Roman tart, and the boquerones! It was simple but so incredible. The focaccia was soft and flavorful, everything tasted so fresh. So so SO delicious we will absolutely be back!
Ignore the bad reviews. Those people are dumb and don’t know how to enjoy themselves.

Let me book end this review by stating that hostess was incredible and was very accommodating to get us a table. She gets a full star all for herself. This place doesn’t get that one.
As for the food… unreal dog water on wheels. Like seriously, what in the world is this place serving. The pasta was basically a salt bomb that made my lips feel like I had been on a scuba adventure with my snorkel in my mouth for two weeks (if you’ve scuba’d or snorkal’d, you know what I’m talking about). The tuna was more like a rubber dog toy soaked in Chic Filet Sauce. I tried to chase this nasty experience with their Costco wine selection, but that fell short too.
Shwanky environment fooled me. But not twice.

2 of the best things I’ve ever eaten have been here. For context I’m 270 pounds and have lived in a few major food cities. The food at St. Vito’s has changed my life. I spent a decade working in fine dining and have never had anything that legit knocks my socks off like St. Vito’s does again and again.
The staff is second to none. When I first started coming here it felt like Chef Michael was running the entire show. Now he’s got the equivalent and Murderers’ Row in the open kitchen. Top class. Chef Alaya (spell check) absolutely rocked the gnocchi sauce. Wish I could bring the sauce home as a dip or baptize my newborn child in it.
I bring all my family and friends here when they’re in town. You’re a fool if you come to Nashville and don’t eat this menu. Best date night spot in the city.

I had potato focaccia, my wife had a tomato one. We also had that pasta.
Really good food, good ambience. A bit loud, and as we did not find the table had to eat at the bar. But the food was really good, highly suggest to go a little early or book the table.

The experience and food were amazing. Don’t let the small menu and unfamiliar names of the food dissuade you. Eat at the bar and ask Josh about anything you are curious about as he prepares the appetizers and desserts. Red lettuce Ceasar salad? Wth? I never even knew there was red lettuce. Fantastic! Potato pizza? Never heard of it either, didn’t sound appealing. But it was highly recommended and with reluctance we bought a slice along with the classic pizza and the pepperoni. It was possibly the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. I know it’s crazy. Maybe it was because it was absolutely unexpected, maybe it was just that dang good. It wasn’t like mashed potatoes on pizza dough. It was some kind of magical potato sauce? puree?, cream? I don’t know what the heck it was but it was super smooth, a little bit buttery and had an unexpected hint of lemon in it. The bread was airy and light with the right chew, texture and taste. When we first saw the bread, we thought it was going to be like a thick and flat hard crusty French bread or a cake bread of some sort. It wasn’t! It was just a surprise after surprise to our eyes, tastebuds, minds and expectations. After all that it wasn’t a surprise that we had best tirimisu we’ve ever had for dessert. It wasn’t super sweet or too rich. Huge portion that was made for two but we fought over the last bite. It was just the perfect dessert to end the meal. And to be fair the other pizzas were also great. But the shock of the potato pizza stole the show. We will definitely be back and thank you for a wonderful date night.

Iberian Pig nailed it.
The steak peppercorn special was unreal — perfectly cooked with a sauce I’m still thinking about. We had several cheeses, crispy potatoes (10/10), and the tomato focaccia that might actually be the star of the table. Or maybe the steak was. It’s a close fight. I am usually a sucker for brocclini but this one was kind of a miss; the flavor was excellent but a bit under cooked for my liking.
Dark, cozy vibe. Cocktails were perfect. Our server was friendly and super helpful, especially since it was our first time — made the whole experience easy and fun.
We’ll absolutely be back.
