Ordered vegetable beef soup and patty melt with chips. I would say the soup is homemade along with the chips that weren’t greasy. Watching the burgers being brought out looks like their head is also homemade. Food was great but I would cut back on the salt in the soup, have to watch the sodium. They were busy as well as the waitstaff, done a great job clearing the tables and getting you seated. We waited 5 min. if that and the lunch came out quickly. Atmosphere was good, welcoming staff. Recommend

The didn’t have outdoor seating for me and the dog, but brought my food to go to the little park around the corner(tipped extra for the delivery =). Amazing chicken biscuits and gravy! Friendly service, great food I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Great place for a delicious breakfast or lunch. The homemade biscuits and gravy were the closest thing I have had to actual homemade in some time. The coffee was hot and very good. The food comes out fast, hot, and fresh. I highly recommend for some good “tastes like home” food.

From the moment you step in to the “STEP INN” you are in the classic country dining experience. When I say country dining i mean the good ol meat and potatoes . Don’t come here looking for veggies. I got the stuffed hashbrowns and the pictures are evidence I cleaned my plate and the bread is all homemade in house . Do your self a favor and “STEP INN”!!!

This place was so nice to bring my kids (ages 11 & 13)! The food was excellent and fresh!! Even those picky eaters of mine loved it. The service was great!! When they found out we were from out of town, they even suggested local attractions my kids would like. The decor is creative and fun. Would definitely recommend.

I give everything five stars across the board, even the atmosphere. It’s not that the atmospheres anything special but for a breakfast lunch small kitchen it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be clean, nice, small, good home cooking homemade bread great portions great prices excellent quality what you expect out of any small town breakfast lunch Nook on Main Street. If you’re blowing through Sheboygan in the morning, I grab breakfast or brunch here

These Californian Refugees know how to run a restaurant. Very cool spot, food with Herculean portion sizes, and relatively inexpensive. We dined in but saw a lot of people snag take out and take it to the brewery of the park etc. Highly recommend.

This place was awesome! I got the California Refugee Burrito—the guac was SO FRESH. Everything was just that—FRESH. The salsa was awesome. My Mom had the Carne Asada Street tacos that looked equally fantastic and she said they were delicious. Had a really cool vibe, too. Highly recommend!

I like this place, food is good, priced right, not cheap but not expensive. Don’t drink anything with the terrible water. I always go for the soda. Good breakfasts with home made bread. I’m not fond of the eating area, short ceilings, and a little loud for me. I do find it a little different to hear across the table. Terrible water, did I say that before? Even the coffee and tea.
