I had both Shredded Beef and Chicken. I can’t pick a favorite, they were both so good!
The shell was light and crispy and the Salsas and Habenero Sauce were perfect compliments!
Rice and Beans were delish also. Friendly and clean! And we were served very quickly for lunch

I always want to support small businesses. I have never in my life left a negative review anywhere. I have been going to Carlitos for few years. Today I spent $30 $15.00 ) for tortilla soup. I received a bowl of chicken broth( tasteless) and tortilla chips on side . I have had tortilla soup a lot different places this was a bowl of chicken broth, no tomatoes , no vegetables nothing. I looked at it and said something. Was told that is their tortilla soup. I believe new owners. This is deceiving and definitely will not ever go back. Was so disappointed and angry. I just through away money fell like it was stolen from me. I waited 25 minutes. Another couple other small child had ordered food also took so long they asked for it to go. They ended up leaving.

I’ve been here multiple times and it never fails to give me that feel of eating my grandmother’s cooking. I have tried other places, but this place just feels like home. The staff is great, caring and service is spot on. It may be a hole in the wall find, but it’s a true gem! I highly recommend and if the Mexican breakfast items!

Carlito’s in Huntington Beach is a great new Mexican restaurant option either to order for take-out or to dine in. You will meet the sweetest lady behind the counter who works so hard to ensure all customers are happy and loving their food! The inside dining area has a diner feel to it, and it is very clean and welcoming. There is quite an extensive menu of items to choose from, with breakfast options served all day. We enjoyed our chicken fajitas and shredded beef taco combo plates and will return to try some of the other
items on the menu.

Despite the phenomenal tacos they customized at a very reasonable price, it was her customer service in assisting me find something to eat for my toddler (may be on the spectrum) that struggles with tastes and textures sometimes… AFTER I have ordered her food.
She would not charge me or let me tip.
Family friendly, disability friendly, veteran supporter, DELICIOUS FOOD and very authentic, GREAT prices and customer service!

I usually get the chorizo breakfast plate. It is very filling and has a lot of great flavor.

Been meaning to try out Carlito’s Diner for a while after hearing from others how good the food and service is. I ordered two Taco combo, and my husband ordered the club sandwich and chicken strips. We dined in, and we’re treated with the best hospitality. Chips and salsa were really good. The salsa was so good, I ordered some to take home, My crispy taco’s were so good! I got some of the creamy habanero sauce on the side, and it added a nice kick! The dinning room was clean and modern, and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Plenty of seats, even though it’s a small restaurant. Im looking forward to coming back and trying more items. I heard the chicken enchiladas suizas are really good, so those will be next. Oh I forgot to mention that the menu is huge! And breakfast is served all day. Say hi to Martha when you go

Came here for the taco Tuesday special. We ordered 3 shredded beef and 3 shredded chicken jr tacos since they were under $2 each. Decent size for a jr, loaded with lettuce and cheese. Meat was tasty, salsa was good. We preferred the chicken over the beef.
Lots of choices of other items including sandwiches, smash burgers and more Mexican food. Close to work so this was easy!
