We ate here for lunch. We did not have to wait long and it came out fresh and hot. I love the shrimp plate with broccoli, carrots and rice. The miso soup was delicious. The staff was so attentive and polite. The ambiance is unique and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re wanting Japanese food.

It’s okay. I got the hibachi chicken. It’s not bad by any means- but has no flavor. I have to dunk it in the sauce (which is really good) for it to taste like anything. Carrots are definitely just canned carrots. Also got a side of Thick Noodles. The noodles are very lack luster in flavor even though they have a lot of color. $19 for Hibachi chicken- side of noodles and egg rolls. Glad u tried it, but I don’t think I would go again.

Long time customer here.
Ordered 6 plates of food
3 of them no carrots extra mushroom as always.
Got home to this kids meal portion.
Called back and the manager on duty seem to think this is the definition of Extra Mushrooms.
She said she even looked at it herself and thought it was Okay.
Funny as I ask to speak to the owner but she wasn’t there but her car was parked out front.
Never have I had issue with this place
But it has been 4-5 months since I last ate here..
Prices are up but portion are smaller and when you take carrots out and substitute for extra mushroom
They shorten the amount of mushroom.
Even on a regular plate there is more than my 6-7 pieces of mushrooms.
This is ridiculous and uncall for.
Order adult size and paid for adult size but got a kid portion.
If I had order one plate it’ll be one thing, but I order total of 6 entrees
It adds up and portion and the so call EXTRA is uncall for.
They offered me if I want to drive back they’ll give me more mushrooms.
Like imma drive 25 mins round trip? Seriously?

Lots of variety, excellent service staff, shrimp sauce is a little runnier than I normally like it, but still tastes great. The chicken egg rolls are actually made there in the restaurant, and you can tell. Portion sizes are good, especially for the price.

We go here all the time. The wings are amazing! Priced just right. Never had to wait for seating. The waitresses are super friendly. We will continue to eat here. I would recommend Tosaka. The owner (lady) is a little bit hard on her staff. Nice to me tho

12/22/24 Yearly Update: Continue to enjoy this restaurant, prices are great for the quality+quantity I have already had it twice this week I’m in from Kentucky. Everything I said before still stand. Great place! Highly recommend coming here for a cheap but good meal! Forever customer!
12/29/23 Update: This place is amazing. I have been coming to this place forever! And I have been in NC for a week and ate here 4 times because I can’t find anything as good in KY. Order To-Go or dine in it’s great!
