A nice Cafe shop in the middle of downtown area of Philadelphia city center. It is a two minute walk from the Love Park. The cafe is nice, has decent coffee options both in cold and warm. They have a proper breakfast and Lunch menu as well as a decent sized bakery section. They also have an ice cream station with 8 flavors available. The prices are really good as compared to the quantity being served. They also have decent vegetarian options on the menu. The best part is there outdoor seating area that is covered with umbrellas and can only be entered by the customers from inside the cafe. There are good views from the outdoor cafe seating. A nice place to grab coffee. Parking around the area is difficult around the downtown during the day, but better in the evening after 4 PM paid roadside parking is available around the area. The cafe is fully wheelchair accessible.

banana bread sucks, it’s not sweet at all not moist taste like some vegan stuff or something like that. i called they denied to give me a refund im highly disappointed with the service i received. I feel like if a customer is dissatisfied a refund for a $5 banana slice would not be a problem. i will not be returning. food is overpriced and nasty.

I came in here for two days for an escape from my job and Elijah gave me a wonderful, attentive service. He made my drinks exactly as I asked and even suggested modifications that I very much enjoyed. He is a very professional worker and a good man who cares about his customers. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good drunk and a experience to hit this place up, and ask for Elijah as bartender. 100 outta 10. Thr man is a good hard worker and deserves a raise. His service is exactly what made my experience here great.

I ordered a 2 SP Up & Out, and the menu said $7, but they charged $8 plus tax. I told the masked employee that it said $7, and they just said, “That’s that, but in our system it’s $8, so we can’t change it.” I told them that’s false advertising, and their response was, “Do you still want the beer or not?”
This isn’t even a mistake—they’re just being that bold.

Not a Philly native, but this was the first cafe I found when I touched the ground. I spent my first full week in this cafe, and now I work down the street. I go in as often as I can on lunch, or for breakfast and I’m always met with good service. I love the drink options (my favorite being honey lavender matcha), and the food options. Shout out to all of the staff, and especially the manager, Elijah. Told him I’d be back, for something specific, before going home, and he remembered my order from hours prior. Good food, good energy, good drinks, good spot.

I went to Capriccio Cafe on a weekend morning and ordered a black coffee, an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, and a piece of crumble cake. They didn’t have everything bagels, so they asked me if multigrain bread was okay? I said, sure. The person who took my order was initially very friendly: he asked me to repeat my order several times. I didn’t mind, because I had the impression he wanted to get my order right.
I see him making an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. I’m hoping it’s for someone else. Then, he brings it to the counter and motions my way. If it was a different type of bagel, I would not have cared. But a sweet croissant paired with salty egg and cheese does not sit well with me.
So I ask the man at the counter if it’s an egg and cheese on multigrain bread. He apologizes and goes to make it again. When he gives me the corrected sandwich, he says nothing but gives me a dirty look.
Below average food, below average service. There are plenty of other places within walking distance to get a nice breakfast.

Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Service!
I can’t believe this place doesn’t have better reviews! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The new manager is absolutely fantastic—attentive, professional, and truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience for every guest. You can tell they’re making a real difference in how this café is run.
It’s shocking that this café doesn’t have higher ratings because it truly deserves them. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, an unbeatable view, and a staff that genuinely cares, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
