A coworker and I decided to try this place after work and had a great time. It’s one of those restaurants that you drive past and don’t think about but when you finally go, it’s a pleasant surprise. You order at the register and seat yourself. Opposite of the register is a wall of pastries that all looked delicious and we plan to try some next time. There was no wait for a seat and wait time for food wasn’t very long. It wasn’t very busy until closer to closing time when a few larger parties arrived. Portions, minus the tacos, were large and very filling and flavorful. The meat for each taco was cooked in different broths and seasonings so they didn’t all taste the same. The Jamaica was refreshing and not too strong. My favorite dish was the pupusa loca – it was bigger than regular pupusas and was stuffed with cheese, meats, and beans. “Spectacular give me 14 of them right now!” If I hadn’t eaten everything else and been I would’ve devoured this (I say as I eat the leftovers while writing this). We also got the seafood ceviche to share which had onions, corn, lemony sauce, shrimp, octopus, oyster, cilantro, and more. I kept digging into the bowl for another scoop and adding some on my tortillas. Service was friendly and patient as we took awhile to read and decide what to order. Food was delivered to your table, they checked in as they made their rounds not every 5 seconds, and gently almost unnoticeably removed dishes from the table. 10/10 would go back

Best pupusas in Fredericksburg. On our eight hour drive from our trip we decided to stop for food, best place to get real Salvadoran pupusas. Their pollo con tajada was delicious and so were the Burria tacos. Definitely my place to go when I’m around the area. I’d definitely recommend. They also have a variety of pan dulce .

We ate here for the first time recently and was very pleasantly surprised! We tried a few different things. The plantain was pretty good! Also had the carne asada, The pescado, the refried beans, some variation of rice, salad and pupusa included in the order that we placed. All of it was pretty good! The staff was very friendly and even allowed us to taste some of the juice that is made in house. I didn’t know that they make all of the bakery items in their location as well. Overall, a very great first visit. You will see in the photo that the soda machine was down if that means something to you, but they did have a vending area that included bottled beverages as well as the selection of some juices. Not a place that you would know to go to unless you’re from the area or work near the shopping center.

Hey, if what you’re looking for is price to match quality and quantity, this is the place. THEY CARE! All of my sauces were packaged without overflow, no leaks from anything, and the food was hot and delicious! I had to stop in a random parking spot to try it because my car smelt so goooood!!! Try this this!!! At least once!!!

I’ve eaten here a few times in the past and it was outstanding but it was always take out so I wanted to dine-in before reviewing. Y’all have to believe me, this is the place!
Everytime I eat here I say “This might be the best I’ve ever had.” Everything is painfully good and their breakfast…I think I actually teared up a little when they brought it out. If that wasn’t enough they are a bakery too, a legit bakery. The sentiment of this might be the best food ever extends to their baked goods. I was absolutely blessed to have been there when they brought out fresh churros and doughnuts.
The staff were wonderful and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. However, the food is good enough that I probably wouldn’t care if it wasn’t.

Would give five stars but service for carry out is so super slow. Waiting 30 plus minutes for 6 Pupusas is crazy. That said the location is super clean, the staff super friendly and the menu looks amazing. Certainly a bit pricy for some menu items but they have a taco Tuesday tacos are $1.25 each and a pupusa Wednesday all pupusas are a $1.00. Amazing quality and good flavors. If they would not take so long this would be a five star

First time here and it was downright delicious! We had the Salvaruco (plantains, pupusas, beans and cream) and the Lomo Saltado (beef, tomatoes, onions with rice over crispy fries.) The Lomo Saltado came as a recommendation from a staff member, Idania. The fries were a magical creation in which they stayed crispy even after being buried under marinated beef and veggies. How do they do that?! The Salvatruco was served with a vat of cabbage that was divine. Great prices, clean dining room, friendly staff and fantastic food. Highly recommended.

The location of this restaurant would make it difficult for one to get here unless they are specifically looking for this restaurant or work in that small shopping center. Don’t be put off by the casual demeanor of the staff. Also, food preparation takes about thirty minutes (at this location and the other in Woodbridge – that has been my experience). They have great tamales…they also have good burritos as well!
