The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for amazing food and exceptional service, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!
There was a large group that came in at 630 and sat down right after we did. They were getting their appetizers by 640! We flagged the lady down and told her we had been waiting-with children- for almost 40 minutes and haven’t gotten anything. She came out with a tied bag of our appetizers that had been wrapped in plastic containers and confirmed that it was ours and had been ready for quite awhile but the cashier never told her it was changed to dine in. The cheesy bread that looked SO good at the next table was not at all the same as ours. We had wet soggy chewy cold breadsticks and only ate a few. It was so disappointing. And to top it off, they wrapped the hot item with the cold caprese salad so our cheese and tomatoes weren’t even cold anymore. All of this food must have been sitting in this bag for a half hour on the counter, and nobody questioned it. The lady apologized and said they were short 2 people so we didn’t even bother complaining. I’m just disappointed. We chose this place out of several while picking apples because of the reviews.
Top everything off! Our pizza didn’t come out until right after 7. Like 7:02. So our appetizers would have sat there for 50 minutes getting more unpleasant, and they were OK with this happening to us. The pizza might have been better if I didn’t already have a bad experience. I thought the crust and cheese were delicious, but I thought the sauce was thin and ketchupy.. kinda bland. As much as I felt sorry for them being short-handed, I will never go back, they knew the hot appetizer sat in a plastic container getting moist and warm and my cold appetizer getting room temp. They had time to fix it and chose to be OK with this. Hmm. My daughter loved the root beer float! And the sodas were self-service, thank goodness
We ordered the meatball sliders, which just didn’t work. The meat was flavorless and meatballs aren’t really a finger food type of dish. Next was the caprese, which is $12 for slices mozzarella, sliced tomato, and balsamic vinagarette. Not honestly anything to write home about. We ordered the meat Stromboli, which was good but undercooked in the middle (sorry undercooked mozzarella with something like this just doesn’t work). There’s better places to eat that cost less and have less nuisances.
We parked around the corner and began walking towards the restaurant. As we rounded the corner we immediately noticed a very distinct aroma that can only be described as that authentic Italian pizzeria smell that you don’t find that often. We followed the smell and were happy to find that it was from where we had ordered from.
We ordered a Neapolitan Pizza, a Cheese Pizza, and cheesy bread sticks. These were the best pizzas I have had so far this year.
