The ambiance is cozy and elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion. The outdoor seating area is particularly lovely, with lush greenery and nice lighting.
Absolutely amazing food! The ambience is just perfect for a group or a romantic meal.
Each table is well distanced from another, enough to have some laughs without disturbing the neighbouring clients.
Ambience is romantic and beautiful!
The service was amazing, the waitress we had was really friendly and quick. Also had a group of service team come and sing a birthday song for the person whose birthday we were celebrating.
Food was super delicious, portions slightly moderate for the price. But all in all, really really tasty and fresh
I would recommend this place to anyone, especially couples, groups and families.
Loved it!
Visited the second time.
Thai Chi by Sarova is a gem. We dropped by in the afternoon, drawn in by the beautiful setting and serene garden – perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine and some bites. The attentive staff made sure we were comfy, and the ambiance was just right for a lazy afternoon.
As the evening rolled in and dinner time hit, the place started filling up. At one point, it felt like they were juggling a bit to keep up with everyone, given how big the space is and tables are kinda spread out – but they did alright.
The layout’s nice – you’ve got privacy between tables but still feel like you’re part of a nice buzz.
Food was good. We had corn fritters and spring rolls to start, green Thai curry and veg rice for mains – all hit the spot. Sticky toffee pudding was a nice end to the meal. Spring rolls and green curry were highlights.
They’ve got a decent wine selection, which was perfect for our afternoon-to-evening vibe.
We ended up staying longer than planned – the ambience, night garden lighting, the crowd… it all worked. Mature crowd, chill vibe.
Overall, Thai Chi’s a spot worth checking out if you’re after good food, decent wine, and a chill vibe in a nice setting.
The menu features classic Thai favourites, fragrant curries, well balanced stir fries, perfectly cooked noodles, fresh seafood and vibrant vegetarian options. All prepared with attention to flavour and detail. Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and the spice levels are well calibrated while still allowing guests to adjust to preference.
#EatOutApproved!
The food hovered around average for me, not a standout, but not disappointing either. There were a few dishes that showed promise with thoughtful presentation and balanced flavors, though nothing reached standout status on my plate. Still, the experience was elevated by the staff’s warmth and the space’s vibe, which together turned what could have been a routine meal into a memorable night.
Overall verdict: a solid choice for a relaxed evening where the ambiance and service carry more than the food alone. Great for a date night or catching up with friends when you value atmosphere as much as (or more than) a landmark menu.
Dinner menu needs improvement – did not quite like their pad Thai.
But their breakfast has never failed me – it is truly a gem !!! You cannot get this anywhere else in Nairobi.
