The team here is just the best – Always welcoming, Lamonte has a great vibe to walk into after a long day of work, or just for a good time. Their oysters are fresh, the cocktails are delicious, and the music is atmospheric and dance worthy, if not for the delicious meal in front of you! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

My first impression was terrible. The young guy in the white T-shirt in the attached photo clearly looked unhappy that we arrived before last order. He obviously didn’t want us to order any food. (If that’s the case, why set the last order at midnight?) Despite many open seats, we were led to an uncomfortably small table. He spilled water from the red bottle but didn’t bother to wipe it up, and even though the menu got wet, he didn’t bring a new one. I almost wanted to leave right then — it was the worst start.
That said, the oysters were excellent, the steak sauce was exquisite, and the wine was great. The other staff members were wonderful, but because of the bad impression at the beginning, I won’t be returning.

I celebrated my wife’s birthday at Lamonte, a place we discovered through their intriguing website and online menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was super cool, but the highlight was the spectacular food. While everything was great, the fried calamari stood out the most. We loved it so much that we ordered an extra serving to take home before we left.

Lamonte is like the boyfriend you always wanted. Beautiful atmosphere, the service made me feel like we were long term family. The beef stew knocked me on my seat. Happy hour is the best for martinis and oysters (clean and fresh) will definitely make this my regular location

Fries had a refried soggy texture so they probably have been sitting there for a while and didn’t taste very good. Oysters are only two dollars each if you get a ten dollar drink. They are not very good and have a funny after taste. decor is cute though and music was good. Overall food felt underwhelming and service was also just ok…

The food was okay, nothing special but wasn’t too bad. The noise level though, is really something else. If you’re looking for a rowdy, loud restaurant/bar to enjoy your night out at, by all means. Maybe this is the perfect spot for you! But given the fact that we were just coming in for a nice meal at a local spot, Lamonte wasn’t for us. The server was very nice but got a part of our order wrong because, i assume, he couldn’t hear us through the noise in the restaurant.

We first visited Lamonte one evening and absolutely loved it. We tried the Argentinian Empanadas Duo, and they were fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for brunch and had the Argentinian Steak Sandwich. As an Argentine living in the U.S., it was such a treat! The flavors took me back home.– Although it’s not an exclusively Argentine restaurant. Highly recommended!
