Made the Right Way. Every Day. There’s a reason our bagels taste different–they’re made the traditional way. At Manhattan Bagel, we give each bagel a dip in a kettle of boiling water, then bake them fresh each morning. That’s how we get our authentic shiny bagels with a crispy, golden crust on the outside and that soft, satisfying chew inside. No shortcuts. Just real, authentic bagels made the way they were always meant to be. We kettle-boil our bagels to lock in that shine and crunch, then bake them fresh daily for a chewy, golden bite. No shortcuts, just the classic NY method – done right, right here, every day.
Counter-serve chain specializing in NYC-style bagels & coffee, plus salads, soups & sandwiches.

First, let me say, a VERY good first impression. The breads, bagels, and muffins were beautifully displayed.
The handsome older gentleman took my order immediately. I ordered a buttered roll, a buttered everything bagel, a toasted buttered corn muffin, and a pumpkin muffin. The amount of butter was spot on!!! Just the right amount and spread evenly (All the other places just glob it on)
Everything was delicious!!!
Will definitely be my go-to going forward.
The only disappointment was when I returned for coffee the handsome older gentleman wasn’t there.
Manhattan Bagel is a popular chain that offers a variety of fresh, flavorful bagels with a range of spreads and toppings. Their bagels are typically soft yet chewy on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside, reflecting a classic New York-style recipe. The selection includes everything from plain and sesame to more unique options like asiago and cinnamon raisin.
They also offer an extensive menu of sandwiches, from the classic bacon, egg, and cheese to more intricate creations, often made with fresh deli meats, veggies, and specialty spreads. One standout feature is the variety of cream cheese options, which are often generously applied. Service is generally quick and friendly, although during peak hours, it can get busy.
While some might argue that the bagels don’t quite have the same iconic “New York” magic as the best independent spots in Manhattan, Manhattan Bagel holds up well compared to many chain competitors. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual breakfast or lunch, especially if you’re in the mood for a consistent, no-frills bagel experience.
The bagel was very light and airy which is not true bagel and the spread was not made with real strawberries.
Coffee was good.
The outer skin was really tough but the interiors were the right combination of fluffy and chewy. The onions on the onion bagels were rather burnt and acrid as well.
The spicy bagel was really quite spicy and might be enjoyed by those who love food spicy.
I have been going to this place for a year now and it has always impressed me…
Very friendly staff, bagels are simply average. But nice to see happy friendly people.
Everything was delicious. We enjoyed our breakfast and are so grateful you have gluten free bagels. Please add it as an option to online ordering!
The guy that took out order with the long hair was very friendly.
