This is my second time being at this restaurant in the past six months, and it will not be the last, as others have said the food, the atmosphere, the service is all top-notch. First time there we had a table, this evening we sat at the bar. Both are excellent experiences. First time had the pizza, tonight I had the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti Mariana., Desserts are also spectacular be they the cannolis or the cheesecake. They have a happy hour between 4 o’clock and 6 PM, evidently slows down after that for a bit, but then around 630 to 7pm it is crowded, and rightly so. I don’t know where people park, I’ve parked on the street twice. Been lucky to find a spot. And talking with the staff seems like a lot of the patrons are local walking distance. I love the floor, which is authentic and original to the building, the bar and everything else there is just Very good.

Shrimp Scampi was delicious and loved the ambient vibe but also the energy in the restaurant! I really enjoyed the espresso martini it was smooth! Lots of TVs for sports fans and great food without breaking the bank! Will definitely come back again!

I enjoyed the atmosphere, apps and chicken parm. Showed up by walk in and didn’t realize how popular it was until we were placed on a wait list. But that went quick, first they were able to seat us at the bar as we didn’t mind, then a table opened up and it was more comfortable. Had a good time!

Taylor B was on point with her service, she was awesome. I would def recommend to reserve if not, you will have to wait. The environment is amazing. I was impressed with their prices, very competitive for the area. Portions are big, so you might end up sharing. Def worth the try. I Highly recommend this place.

Traveled to KC and had to visit.The atmosphere is trendy yet casual — stylish without feeling pretentious — which made it comfortable and inviting from the moment we walked in.
Ordered the shrimp scampi with a glass of cabernet, and everything was spot on. The scampi came with a generous amount of shrimp compared to other restaurants I’ve been to, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. (YUM) I honestly kept eating even after I was full.
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I completely fell in love with the decor. The lighting was softly dimmed, Frank Sinatra was playing in the background, and the whole ambiance felt like I was in a cozy Chicago brownstone enjoying homemade Italian food.
It’s the perfect spot for date night, but also a great place to grab a drink at the bar and unwind. I’ll definitely be back when I’m visiting again!

Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a really long time. It’s tasty, full of flavor, spicy for some (but not all), and the ambiance inside is great. This restaurant is super popular so I’ve done both carry out and dine in! Probably one of my most favorite places in KC without a doubt. Great for a date night.he Wise Guy delivers a fantastic dining experience with exceptional food, impeccable service, and thoughtful details that elevate the meal. My wife and I spent Valentine’s Day here and it was a fantastic choice. From the moment we sat down, everything was on point — appetizers, drinks, pizza, and salad all came out great and at the right pace. Nothing kills a date night like bad timing on the food, and Wise Guy nailed it.
Our server Taylor was absolutely wonderful. Attentive without being overbearing, she took great care of us all evening and really added to the experience. The happy hour specials were an awesome bonus — great value on top of an already great night.
