The food was quite delicious with generous portions, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was that the indoor dining area was rather dimly lit. Fortunately, the weather was lovely, so I opted to sit outside, which completely avoided the issue. While the prices weren’t cheap, the substantial portions made it feel worthwhile. I visited on a Sunday around 4 p.m., and most nearby restaurants had already closed for the day. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Nice Indian cuisine with Indian staff.
The food was okay, but the portion sizes were not quite reasonable for the price. Be cautious before making payment — we weren’t provided with a bill. We visited on a public holiday, and they charged nearly double the menu price, mentioning a surcharge of around 16–30%. Based on our rough calculation, the total should have been around $50–60 AUD, but we were charged $98. When we asked for the bill, they said the printing machine wasn’t working.

Southern most Indian place on the Mornington Peninsula. Place suited for Take away that said they do have few dine tables set-up.
Access is via the Kebab shop, don’t be worried about this, the flavoursome food makes up for the ambience and access confusion.
Have ordered from here many times over the past many years and always have been happy with the quality and service.
Prices are high given its in a touristy place. Meals are bit on the oily side to give that extra kick but not that intrusive.
Highly recommend their butter chicken, palak paneer and the lamb rogan josh.
Serving sizes are decent and meat quality is good is too.
They can custom make the dishes to your taste, let me know how you them prepared.
4 stars, will be back again.

We had the shittiest experience while ordering from here. It’s just been 5 minutes since we ordered. The paneer tikka wrap was literally shit. It was overpriced as well. I want a refund please. Kindly work on your menu and efficiency. I’d recommend don’t waste your money. Just go to buckley next door instead.

Worst byrani, I ever had in my life. I don’t even have a spoon of it. No any waiter to complain about food. I think they don’t even care about that. I have chilli panner, garlic nan( don’t feel like fresh, not hot enough) and mango lassai.
Lassai was good enough, panner 3/5 ( bit oily)
And BIG NO for byrani( no seasoning, no any sides and overcooked rice)

We went there around 5.30 in the evening. The place was not very crowded, the arrangement was nice with two types of seating. We tried out Biryani, Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken Masala and Mango lassies. The food arrived without too much of waiting and it was delicious and the portion size was also very good. We couldn’t finish up the mango lassies since they were too big for an individual. The girls who were serving there were pleasant and helpful. Prices were also pretty reasonable, overall it was a good experience.

Friendly staff and good quality food. Despite there being only one other table, service was pretty slow and when mains came out, starter dishes were not cleared away. If staff were a little more attentive, could have been 4/5 stars. Didn’t detract too much from a nice meal though.
