If you’re looking for the best pupusas in Washington State, 5 Rosas Salvadoran Pupuseria is where you need to be! This family-owned gem is serving up authentic Salvadoran flavors with a side of incredible hospitality. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes every visit special.
But let’s talk about the food—wow. The pupusas are perfectly crispy on the outside, filled with generous portions of gooey cheese, savory meats, and fresh, flavorful ingredients. Pair them with their delicious curtido (pickled cabbage slaw) and salsa, and you’re in for an unforgettable experience.
If you’ve never tried Salvadoran pupusas before, this is the place to start! Whether you’re a first-timer or a pupusa connoisseur, 5 Rosas will leave you coming back for more. An absolute MUST-STOP for anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering comfort food. You won’t regret it!
Their bean and cheese pupusas and Salvadoran rice pastelitos are also my go-to favorites. Everything is made fresh, so I don’t mind waiting a little – it’s always worth it.
5 Rosas is the kind of place that makes you feel at home with every bite. Highly recommend!
First of all the people are so friendly! A smile goes a long way. I got 2 Papusa, bean and cheese and a spinach and cheese. I also got a chicken tamale wrapped in Banana leaves.. That was Soooo tasty. With my meal came a delicious cabbage salad. My friend got a chicken& cheese papusa work a smaller dish of cabbage salad. She enjoyed both very much. I would be a frequent customer if I didn’t live 3000+ miles away….
Side note: I left my phone back at the restaurant and until I realized that they had closed. I called and left a message and then a friend called the phone and someone answered. I was able to pick up my phone before they had left for the night even though they were closed. What a wonderful couple, and so sweet!
Also the tamales were pretty watery.
Other than that it was still quite pleasant to eat!!
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is worth the stop. Support small businesses and treat yourself—you won’t be disappointed!
