We found this nice little place tucked away on Loon Lake. We tried the burgers and fries, they were very good. The burgers cooked exactly how ordered, and they weren’t just your average burger, they had flavor. The fries were seasoned and tasty. Our server was friendly and helpful. We look forward to going back.

I have been to Laf-a-lot since I was young. In years past ownership and management have changed but by and large this location has been consistently good. Recently they have undergone in the management and ownership. I had lunch there on May 6, 2022. The service and food were nothing short of exceptional. The vibe that they have in this location is really good. They have updated the interior oh, and I’ve included historical photos of the lake. I ordered the fish which is a special on Friday. It was outstanding. The wait staff took time to ensure that I had everything I needed him brought the food promptly. Great place and I highly recommend it. They are in the process of getting their liquor license and assured me it would not take much longer their hours of operation will be extended. Currently it is best to look at their Facebook site to see hours of operation in changes that are coming. Overall you really need to check this place out!

Greeted when we arrived. We waited 45 minutes for our food. 2 tables were seated after we arrived and got their food. We ordered chicken sandwich and a salad. No word from our waitress as to why it was taking so long. Service was just ok. Food was pretty good. But we won’t go back.

Our very large Kayaking Group comes here once a year, our experience is always fantastic, Dine outside on the deck waterside. Food is delicious and the wait staff is always frequently at your table. After we all eat the Owner allows us to use their boat launch.

If you’re hungry just keep driving!! It was a beautiful afternoon of riding and we had a group of six. Ordered food & drinks got those fast! After a hour of watching everyone get their food who arrived after us, we asked Waitress. We believe she forgot to put our order into the kitchen. Owner manager came out apologized and made excuses of a busy day!! Never offered to buy a drink and walked away! After complaining we received our food 15 minutes later. Total wait time – an hour and a half for food!!!! Just stop for drinks and go to the next stop for food!!!

Had the Reuben, philly quesadilla and steak salad this trip. Along with a pitcher of blue whales, a bunch jack & cokes and captain & cokes. Probably a lot more drinks than I needed but where’s the fun in not having enough. All was good. We’ll be back, just like we have been for the last 25 years.

We usually go here a couple times a year, and it’s usually for a party. Last night, we ended up going on a pontoon boat ride with a bunch of people, and our tour guide was a local Loon Lake celebrity and resident. It was a great time. We ended the evening doing several rounds of tequila shots at the bar. Eegads!

I have not been here in 2 years or more . Stopped in today it was my destination stop for lunch and I would go back . Food was good and fresh and service was very good because they had a line of gorgeous young ladies serving drinks and food and the bartender was no exception. That alone will bring me back for sure and yes Im a man and I like women . Its so peaceful there and great scenery.
