Much better than fast food & cozy seating in downtown Battle Creek. Pleasant staff always cleaning straightening in between taking orders. Salads are generous & very fresh. I love the tomato basil soup & their take on Reuben.

These restaurants are few and far in between these days. I love this restaurant and I’m always happy to see one in my travels. We stoped by this location a few months ago, The staff answered my questions and got my order correct. The food was hot and fresh. Schlotzsky’s is one of the most underrated fast food places. Whenever I’m near one I make sure to stop by.

Please bring back the French Dip! The other sandwiches are all over priced and not worth the time or money to come in. Lackluster menu. Edit: I just opened this sandwich up. I went from mildly disappointed to upset. Seriously.. $9 for this small pastrami sandwich that has like two slices on it is worth you guys going out of business over. I will tell everyone I know to never eat here unless they want to feel like getting robbed. I would have given a better start rating due to atmosphere and service being fine, but the food rating didn’t impact the rating enough to show my displeasure. Save your money and go elsewhere, like La Loma.

I have missed this place since I lived in Lansing 25 years ago. We found one in Battle Creek. The service was super fast and organized. The place was busy but pretty quiet. The sandwich was awesome! Just like I remembered. The mac and cheese was also good, but the broccoli and cheese soup was no that good.

I ordered an original sandwich with bacon and mayo and forgot to tell them to remove the veggies from the sandwich as I’m deathly allergic to onions, so upon getting the sandwich I realized my mistake, so I walk up to the counter to see what could be done and the blonde manager proceedes to give me a lecture about how if I don’t like something that I should automatically remember to have it removed bare in mind this is like my 6th time ever eating at schlotzkys so I’m trying to get used to the build she then goes on to tell me it’s gonna cost the store 8 dollars to replace my sandwich I’ve already paid for. Then when I told her I just wanted a refund she refused that and made a new sandwich and came out with an attitude and the entire staff was dirty looking me the entire time like I committed a felony. I do not recommend this location to anyone who wants respectful service and a good atmosphere. Definitely wouldn’t advise bringing your children here if she acts like this. Just be careful of this location and the blonde manager!!!!
