The Shaking Beef was delicious! It’s called a different title on the menu, but it tastes just like shaking beef. It is a bit on the salty side, but it’s perfectly saucy and fried. It pairs well with the fried rice and pickled veggies. The thai tea was a little too sweet and not strong enough to my liking, but still was pretty good. Friendly service and fair prices.

This is my preferred Pho place, when I have the time to go. Its far from where I live nowadays, but the quality of the Beef in particular and the generous portion of noodles makes it worth a good half hour drive. There’s something about the flavour of the brisket that really stands out, you’ll remember it for a long time if you get it. I also recommend that and the tripe; its always well washed and you get an all texture meat, with no after taste that some places tend to have.

I love Pho Dakao so much. The service is fast. You walk in and they seat you immediately. To recieve your pho or an appetizer does not take long at all. The food is delicious & fulfilling, and the customer service is always great. Their prices are also affordable.

It’s sad that I have to leave this type of review with always eating here but the female named Nok with the short bob cut seemed to have had an issue today because my shrimp was super mushy and I asked my male waiter if I could exchange them for another order of shrimp to finish my meal. I’m not sure why she would have an issue in the first place when she wasn’t my waiter and my actual waiter had no issue exchanging my shrimp. I’ve only ever had an issue with my shrimp not being cooked properly one other time in all of the years that I have been coming here but the fact of the matter is, if the food is not cooked properly, ITS NOT COOKED PROPERLY. I really just wanted to fix the situation by exchanging for a new side of shrimp but when I overheard Nok and the cook Reni having a disgusting conversation stating that “it’s always something” and making nasty faces at me, that escalated the issue from shrimp to discrimination and unprofessionalism. To lie and say “it’s always something” when I’ve only had two incidents with my food at this place, the first one being LAST YEAR and the other one being today, is unnecessary and embarrassing. That means that all this time, you’ve been looking to single me out every time I visit the establishment to eat. She had everyone turning around looking at me funny from behind the counter and it made me so uncomfortable to the point where I couldn’t even finish my food. I’ve spent a lot of money at this establishment over the years so if the food is not cooked right, I have the right to request it be cooked differently. ITS MY FOOD, MY MONEY! No one wants to eat soggy food and risk food poisoning. She had an attitude bringing my shrimp out to me but was super nice serving the other races in the restaurant. This created a super uncomfortable environment for me to which I couldn’t even finish eating my food. I packed up and left but I will be back to speak to the store manager regarding this issue because it’s simply unacceptable. Having workers like Nok and Reni in an establishment will only bring the establishment down as a whole. Learn professionalism, learn how to take criticism and learn how to treat everyone equal. I look forward to speaking with Jose about this issue.

One of the best meals I have ever had. My partner and I got the steak pho and chicken fried rice. Greatly seasoned and well cooked. Pho was flavorful and did the job for a hot meal. Incredibly good for a first try and will happily be coming back.

My Vietnamese friend took me out to try food like he has back home. He told me that the Pho is the best here. I was courageous (a.k.a terrified) and had the Pho with tripe and tendon. The flavors of everything were mouth watering. The tendon was so soft and the tripe was.very tasty, even though it was a new and exciting texture for me, it was enjoyable. Of course, now that my friend knows I am willing to try new things I suspect that the food I eat in the future may be a bit more challenging. Try something new today and check out the Pho here for amazing unami!

The pho overall was good, (brisket was sort of plain jane and slightly fatty, the shrimp was a smaller portion and didnt taste overly fresh).
My gf had the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli, which was good as well, along with the side shrimp and pork spring rolls. Overall not bad and not crazy expensive. Service was quick.

We dined here two times already! My friend loves the windy hill location so suggested us trying it out. I noticed there was a new one on barrett so came here! The first time we just split a bowl of Steak Pho and Chicken Fried Rice, the rice was surprisingly delicious! The Pho was also delicious, broth was yummy. I was impressed after the first visit. We dined here again not even a week ago for the second time, impressed again. We decided to try a few more items on the menu. We ordered a bowl of the Vegetable Pho, Steak Pho, and Brisket Pho. As well as Chicken Fried Rice, and the Vegetable Egg Noodles. Everything was delicious!! The Pho here is truly good and honestly way better than some of the “best” Pho places in Buford even. Finished the meal with an iced Vietnamese Coffee, strong!!! But tasted really good, almost like German chocolate. I highly recommend Pho Dakao and will tell all my friends they have the best Pho hands down

I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times since it opened, and I came back today full of anticipation. But just as we started eating, they rushed us to pay the bill, and a few minutes later, they threw it on the table. Being treated like this made me very upset, ruining my entire dining experience. I couldn’t finish my food, and my stomach started to hurt. I will never forget what happened.

Meatball pho is a killer. Chicken fried rice surprisingly delicious for a simple fried rice dish.
