We are always pleasantly surprised by the food quality and portions for the price and we’re equally happy tonight. The food is well prepared and very tasty. Server was excellent. My seafood pasta di mare was on the specials menu and was fantastic with at least 2 dozen mussels included in a tasty vodka sauce with shrimp scallops and crab meat mixed in. My lady had the eggplant, chicken parm and stuffed shells also from the specials menu and was equally satisfied.
We’ve eaten here a number of times and haven’t been disappointed.

Staff was very pleasant taking my phone order. The gentleman was competent taking the order. My wife ordered a Meatball Parm hero to go I ordered the Broccoli and Rigatoni.. Her hero she said was very good…My dish however, was over cooked. I’m Italian so kind of know how pasta should be cooked..The Penne pasta was mushy, chewy but not al dente chewy, if you get my drift. The broccoli was falling apart, mushy as well..Otherwise the taste was ok, not too salty, not too much garlic…Pick-up was seamless, no problem, in and out…

Place can easily seat parties of 4 or less. The pizza here is sublime. The flavor for the pizza is unmatched and their other dishes are superb as well like their pasta. My only critique is if you order a normal pie the slices might be very wilted but that’s not an issue because of how good it is. Simply ask for crispy crust when ordering a pizza pie or ask for your pizza to be well done.

Been here many times and am always very well taken care of. The food is great and staff treats you like family. The owner seems like a genuinely good man too

Nice and local is the only way these days, love to support the small guy! This place is one of the few places that still serves a meal at a great price! One less star for the help trying their best but just not enough attention given due to being short staffed… obviously a problem these days but still worth noting. Surely still a place everyone should visit too, a place they will be very happy when the check arrives!

What pizza parlor closes at 8:00 on a Saturday it’s unheard of. Tried calling at 8pm and got a answering message.

The best pizza, garlic knots and chicken rolls. Their salads are also fantastic and they don’t skimp on the toppings. The staff is very helpful when calling in orders to pick-up and eating in the dining room is a relaxing experience. They also deliver and it is always on-time and the food is hot. Great Gluten-free pizza too!

So I come in and it’s slow as it’s not yet dinner time and usually the whole counter is full with product galore….. the slices all looked dry and not much to choose from. No chicken rolls or anything but slices. Ok no problem as it’s slow I guess. What bothered me is that there was some girl in the middle of the counter area preparing a bag of food for a Togo order and she told the older gentleman who was bald, about 5 foot 10 inches give or take Caucasian, about 220lbs give or take, I’d say mid 50s to 60 making pie. She made an error and didn’t cut something and was apologizing for it and the man seemed disgusted and she literally looked like she was going to cry. So then two other girls hop on over out of nowhere and help me at the register and we’re pleasant. I asked if there were any back up chicken rolls of any kind or pin wheels and the man wouldn’t even speak shook his head like he couldn’t be bothered and the girl said it would be a little bit to make one after seeing him again shake his head in disgust without even offering to make one as I guess he was the only one there to make pie and product. Either way if he was a manger of any sort the attitude was not like I’ve seen here before as the place is always so accommodating and again full of fresh product…. Guess Thursdays at 445 is the wrong time to come in there. The energy was very tense and the employees seemed nervous. The customer acknowledgment and hospitality was not it today. I love this place but I’m sorry you don’t create that kind of environment for employees and or guests walking through the door. Good thing I bought 6 slices to go and didn’t even ask to heat them up as you could feel the negativity from the moment t you walked in. Cmonnnnnn baby smile! It’s manja time! Be nice and grateful for such a successful establishment because if that happens now on a regular the place will for sure be doomed. Btw has management changed here!? It’s been a while and I’m curious as this is the first time I’ve seen it like this

It’s a real shame. My family has always been a loyal customer of Mulberry Street Bay Shore, going back to the days of Vinnie and Mario. The prices have gone up (I get that), however, the quality and service have gone way down. The current owner, “Mike” has ruined this establishment. He cuts corners wherever he can and no matter how many times we try to overlook mistakes on orders we’ve placed, it just keeps happening. No more! My family is taking our business elsewhere.
