Dining at the Okami restaurant in Canden was a great experience.
The (all you can eat) menu has an excellent range of dishes. You order meals via a tablet located on your tablet, this worked extremely well.
The presetation of the dishes served was done with detail and cooked perfectly.
The restaurant was busy yet the table service was prompt, with friendly, staff.
This is a perfect place for family dinner’s or catching up with friends.

Had the pleasure of dining at Okami for the first time on Monday. The restaurant was very spacious and offered ample seating options. We were after a pram friendly set-up and the manager (Sushant) was very accommodating. We opted for the buffet dining experience which was $42.80/pp. Sushant was very helpful and guided us through how the ordering process worked since it was our first time there. Being the first ones there when the restaurant opened up at 5.30pm, the food came out very fresh. They offered 45 dishes to choose from as part of the buffet menu. Great variety offered in terms of beef/chicken/side dishes. Their crispy chicken and salmon crunch sushi rolls were very yummy. However, the sashimi on offer was only raw salmon (this had to be ordered as a platter containing other sushi varieties, not a stand alone dish). Something to consider if you are a sashimi lover and was expecting an array of choices, you may want to consider elsewhere. If you don’t mind and enjoy the traditional Japanese dishes then it’s not a bad dining experience. I can definitely vouch that the service from Sushant is top notch as he checked in throughout our time there to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Keep up the amazing work!

I don’t know what happened. The iPad must’ve glitched and ordered me 100 plates of salmon. They just kept coming. They had to clear the neighbouring tables to accommodate. But mama didn’t raise no coward. Around plate 60, a man in chef garb came out from the kitchen to see me, staff bowing as he passed. He introduced himself as The Sushi Sensei. He asked me if I’m really going to finish all 100 plates. I said absolutely despite my stomach tearing at the seams. He gave me a look somewhere between respect and visceral horror and left. I finished it all and left. I don’t know what tomorrow brings, but I can hear my toilet praying. 10/10, would eat here again.

Dining at this all-you-can-eat restaurant was a delightful experience. The menu offered an excellent range of dishes, all prepared with care and attention to detail. The sashimi was fresh, the grilled items were perfectly cooked, and desserts were a pleasant surprise. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The food was really nice the price was pretty cheap $39.80 The service was really horrible I didn’t like it at all. I ordered the items through the app but not all food come by so I didn’t get a chance to try everything I ordered the prawn tempera 3 times, mushroom salad twice and miso soup once they never came. The ice cream was nice. I just wish the the service was a bit better, I try to get them their attention but the don’t seem to see me. The rest room was clean, kids friendly, parking was easy on the side street. Otherwise everything was okay.

The chicken Katsu came out raw. We informed the staff who offered to bring a new one. The staff were lovely but I thought this offer was insufficient. The thought of eating raw chicken is very gross. We lost our appetite and the atmosphere with so many people crammed in was unpleasant so we decided to leave earlier than we would have.
We have been to this restaurant many times but this was a really sharp decline. The food is not worth getting sick over. And if this happens to you, they won’t even comp your meal.

Amazing experience at Okami Camden — the all-you-can-eat menu is incredible value and everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavour. Friendly staff and fast service made it a perfect spot for dinner with friends — we’ll definitely be back!

Came for lunch after seeing an Instagram post showcasing the food. Half of the stuff in the post is not even available or does not look like what was in the video. No fresh tuna, no scallop, or really any other fish except for salmon, cooked tuna and prawn. The cooked tuna also has peas, corn and carrots mixed into it for no apparent reason. Ordering from the iPad not only are you asked to add a drink everytime you order something but you don’t receive all that you ordered either. Won’t be back.

Service is topnotch. Got a free drink since we are celebrating an occassion. The waiter offered and we are surprised. It’s little gesture but it counts!
