Don’t do it! It’s sustenance – that’s the nicest thing I can say about it. We tried Asian Chao because Gate D had the worst, unhealthy and overpriced food options. It was dinner time 6:30pm so we did not have much of a choice. Asian Chao is a pre-made buffet option spooned out by the staff. It did not look fresh and the meat looked dry and tough. But I was not in the mood for our other options of deep fried chicken chain food so I ordered beef with broccoli and fried rice for around $13. The meat was as bad as it looked – there wasn’t much so I was able to eat around it. The broccoli was fairly good and not soggy or overcooked. The sesame chicken was also pretty bad and only half eaten. The only good thing I can say is that you won’t get sick.

5 star airport food.
I got the 3 item combo with fried rice for $18.23 before the tip. That’s a large amount of good food by airport standards! Staff were very polite and quick. The General Chicken and Sesame Chicken were much more flavorful than the beef dish. Of course, not the greatest, but it IS in an airport.

Pretty good value for airport food they scoop quite a bit and I saw them making the meat is seems pretty fresh, just wish the offered veggies as a base options instead of entree. Would get again fasho

Probably best airport Chinese food I’ve ever had. Great portion, flavorful but not overly sweet, salty, or greasy. Honestly, better than a lot of other Chinese takeout places even outside of airport. Genuinely surprised.

DO NOT COME HERE! Food undercooked then when requested refund manager didn’t want to refund because I ate the food. Of course I ate it. I bought the food to eat. I didn’t want to see raw undercooked chicken on a dish I wanted! I will be reporting.

Flavorful, reasonable and hit the spot. Spicy chicken and beef and broccoli were delicious! The fried rice is better than panda. The noodles were a bit over steamed and general tso’s chicken was also a bit steamed so not crispy, but overall tasty. Pilots went here so I figured it couldn’t be terrible and glad i stopped here in the end.

Really enjoyed my food, as good as Panda Express. Server was very sweet and I will definitely go back next time flying through ATL.

Food was good, vegetables were great, lo mein was great, orange chicken was eh. Overall, relatively cheap for the amount of food you get, especially at an airport

I mean, expectations couldn’t be lower but I’d avoid this joint as it gave me severe stomach pain like five minutes after chowing it down..
If greasy, soggy and super oily grub is your thing, then this is for you but otherwise go to Panda Express instead for the same thing but slightly better quality. The only advantage is that they do vegetarian options with the “spicy” tofu. The oily palette after this also seems to last a long time and needs a severe washing down. Gross.

Eh, it’s airport food so it’s not the worst option around but honestly the food is pretty spicy. I can take spice and typically have no issues but this was on a completely different level. Probably won’t be back here, even when flying out of gate D.
