Generous portions and unique savory flavors in all the pasta sauces. Looking forward to visit again to try chefs other dishes. Overcrowded, overrated, and overpriced restaurant, with average quality food that you can find at most pizzerias in New Jersey.
Get ready for a “price fixed ” menu, stating at $70 per person without tax and tip, with limited choices of dishes, and nothing especial on your plate when it comes to food quality.
All set and done, you will end up paying close to $100 per person for a food that you could enjoy at half the price anywhere else …..
I normally do not write negative reviews, but I definitely felt cheated at this place ….

My husband and I had the most amazing, wonderful delicious four course dinner last night for our anniversary. We cannot say enough about how much we loved our dinner The minute we walked in we felt like we were in Italy and family! Thank goodness I wore loose pants because I was stuffed . The rabbit was so delicious n tender and his fish out of this world! Had reservations at 6:30pm on a Friday and was seated immediately. Staff is professional and friendly. Interior is a bit tight and seems like it would be chilly near the doors on a cold day but luckily we were seated next to the kitchen.
We opted for the 3 course tasting menu. All of our dishes arrived in a timely manner. The complimentary bread that comes to the table is awesome. You get 3 different kinds of breads and a nicely seasoned olive oil to dip it in.
For the appetizer I got the Gamberetti e Fagioli. Really enjoyed the fresh shrimp along with the beans. The textures and flavors were great. The chef also gave us some kind of tortellini wrapped in spinach complimentary which I thought was excellent.
For entree I got Tagliatelle al Limone. I felt that the pasta texture was excellent however the lemon in the sauce was way too strong. It was so sour that it almost made everything taste bitter. I couldn’t taste the bottarga with how sour the sauce was.
For dessert I got the Biancomangiare and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fresh berries and sauce went so well with the milk pudding. Great way to end the meal.
I would definitely come back and try a different entree.

Easily the best dining experience in the Philly area. The food is excellent, and the front of house is really on point. The ambiance is exactly the right amount of hustle and bustle to provide privacy of conversation in a otherwise (wonderfully) close/cozy seating space. The timing between courses is bizarrely perfect (making me want to do it again just to make sure they pull that off every night!). It all really allows for a person to just sit, enjoy conversation, and experience some amazing food. Food-wise I was most blown away by the perfect amount of fennel in the sausage. My wife would have ordered the gnocchi for every course. Each course was excellent and I could go on and on about the little unique points in each course— but at $75/person for a prefix meal, splurge a little and try it yourself. It’s easily worth twice that.

It’s a good spot for a date night if you live nearby. We did the three course tasting menu for $55/$65. Our favorites were the appetizers: panzanella and gamberetti (shrimp/beans). Swordfish main was also really good but wasn’t a fan of the fennel salad on the side. Tagliatelle Al Limone had too strong of a lemon/salt flavor for us. Desserts (zeppoli and gelati) were just okay.
It’s BYO which is great. It’s a small space, packed, and loud so not the easiest for conversation but lively. Service was good and the kitchen sent out a complimentary gnocchi that we absolutely loved.

The food is good but too oily. A lot of oil is everywhere, salads, pasta, and main course. I asked not to put oil, and I still got a lot of oil. After I left the restaurant, I felt thirsty and had heartburn. In addition, the price is $55 for three courses and $75 for four. You also might pay an upcharge if you select something outside of preselected food. I think for the price I pay they should not charge upcharge.
There is a good selection of vegetarian food like salads and pasta.
The restaurant is very dark. The only way to read the menu is by using a flashlight. The tables are so close to each other that you can hear everything people are talking to next to you. In addition, the aisle is so narrow that servers and people constantly bump your chair if you sit in the middle of the row. Finally, the seats don’t have mats; they are too hard.
The service is GREAT! Speedy and pleasant personnel.
The price was $170 for one three-course and one four-course menu, not including tips.
Overall: Good food, GREAT service, very overpriced, and not the best environment. I would not take my partner for a special occasion to this place.
