I ordered at the window. Took about 15 mins to get my food. I got the soda de mondongo which is a Salvadorian style beef tripe soup. Came with 2 tortillas, rice and jalapenos. ($17) Very good and flavorful. I will be trying the Caldo de menudo estilo mexicano next time I visit.

I come from Culpeper to try the tacos de birria from el asador because a friend recommended it to me and and he was very happy with it so I wanted to give it a try and I’m so happy I did because it was so delicious, 10/10. For me it is quality over quantity and the quality of their food is honestly one of the best I have had. I left the restaurant very happy with the food, service and everything in general! I would definitely recommend El asador restaurant.

I experienced poor service. I ordered chicken, but it had a strange smell and taste. They brought me another one, but it was the same issue. Someone from the kitchen noticed I had returned the food and then asked, “How old is this chicken?” Everyone stared at me after that. The worst part of everything was that I was charged for the entree and everyone kept giving me a weird look for not wanting to eat the food.

I think they changed cooks or something but the last two times have been bad. We used to get pupusas from here all the time before. This is how they’ve been last 2 times. Once dine in and this one was to go. Both were exact same, stuck together and pile of cheese.
