Wow, on our trip from Atlanta to Orange Beach, we found this incredible stop and loved the food so much, we stopped on the way back. Delicious fresh seafood in a potatoe is something of a dream dish. Stop and you will have wonderful service and great food.

I stopped by here while using the nearby Tesla Supercharger on a road trip, and it was great.
It’s a short & easy walk from the charger, very clean with friendly service and several options beyond just potatoes (sandwiches, salads, and deserts). And they have GLUTEN FREE options available as well!!!
I asked their team for a recommendation of what I should try & had the turkey bacon ranch. It was phenomenal & pairs well with cheesecake in a stick.
The timing worked out PERFECT for my charging session & I was back on the road with a happy tummy.

After reading the reviews online we were excited to try the Big potato company on our way back to Georgia. We stopped in around 2pm on a Thursday with images of giant stuffed potatoes dancing in our heads. The dancing stopped when my potato arrived. What? Are you joking? My potato appeared to have been opened, stretched, flattened and then fluffed to appear larger than it actually was. The topping consisted of a couple of meager spoonfuls of grated cheese and about the same amount of bacon spread over the potato mesa. It came with 2 small cups of sour cream and 3 thimble sized balls of margarine. For experimental purposes, I decided to eat the potato with the limited toppings. Here are the results: the cheese and bacon only lasted for less than the first 25 % of my potato. The margarine was so skimpy, I only tasted it in 2 bites. I’m not a huge sour cream fan, but this is all that was left to give any moisture to the potato. Sparingly applied, I made it to almost 75% and then was left with nothing but dry, starchy potato. Not worth risking choking on and a trip to the hospital. My husband fared better with a pulled pork sandwich. He said “it’s moist, and sauced well but , surprisingly, I would have expected fresh made chips or fries here instead of these bagged chips.” Another let down…the pies. I was revved up to order a piece until I spied the refrigerator case next to the counter with pre sliced, grocery store factory made pie. No thanks, I can buy a whole pie almost for one slice here.

Absolutely great place for a quick and super tasty meal. As the name implies, potatoes are the thing, and they come in so many ways. We had the lobster potato and the bacon cheddar potato. Both amazing! Potato was creamy and the toppings nicely done. Not from here, but plan on stopping by whenever we are there!

My husband and I were traveling south on 65 and missed our usual lunch exit at Prattville. We just happened to see this place when we stopped for gas. We were absolutely impressed with the cleanliness, decor, friendly workers, and taste of the meals we ordered. The baked potatoes are HUGE and the toppings are delicious. We will definitely make this a regular lunch stop in the future as we travel south.

This place is quite the mixed bag. I had a chipotle turkey crossiant, and my friends had a grilled cheese and one of the potatos. The sandwichs seem a bit small, especially when compared to the potatos(which are literally larger than the bathroom sink.) My sandwich was good, but nothing special. The cookie included for sandwiches definitely helped. Oh, and don’t let the outside fool you; the décor is impeccable.

Stopped in while passing through. Chicken salad sandwich was pretty nice. Came with some Miss Vickie’s chips and a small sugar cookie. The only downside was the fact that I asked for a cup of water with my lunch and was told the only option was to buy a bottle of water.

Stopped by Big Potato Company yesterday for a quick bite and was not disappointed! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor especially the crawfish potato was good ,10/10 recommend. But what really made the visit even better was the customer service. The cashier was super friendly, patient, and made sure my order was just right. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile. Will definitely be coming back!
