The best part of the town of South Hill, VA. This business has been a staple in the community for years. Their “donuts” are better than Krispy Kreme and Dunkin. Plus they have delicious breakfast sandwiches as well.

It is absolutely worth it to squeeze this gem into your morning. It is VERY popular with the locals and for good reason. Best dang donuts I’ve ever had. Great flavor, texture is perfect, big selection with plenty of creativity. Paired with a hot breakfast sandwich, this is how to start a day right.
Only warning is for the noise sensitive or claustrophobic. The front is standing room only in the small building with lots of chatter and kitchen noise. Very lively.

The bacon maple donut was good but I got there at 8 and they didn’t have warm regular glazed donuts freshly done so that wasn’t so great. I was looking forward to that.

Oh my goodness!!! First, let me just say that their coffee alone is hands down the best!! Their breakfast sandwich? YUMMMMMM!!! Now to the best part…the DONUT!! So Soft! The chocolate is absolutely decadent! Hands down the best donut I have had (and we have had a lot). The staff? Incredibly friendly and at 5:30 am that is awesome!!! We will be coming back with friends!!

Customer service is great here. The sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich wasn’t. The sausage tasted very bland. Wasn’t expecting that. The bread wasn’t great either. Definitely would stick to the donuts! Won’t order breakfast sandwiches next time!

Fabulous donuts. Guy treat we get whenever we travel to South Hill, VA. Better get there early. Sometimes they have yesterday’s donuts boxes a dozen for 1/2 price. A little pricey but definitely worth it. I recommend the maple bacon… it’s loaded with bacon and tastes fabulous! Very small shop. No place to sit in and eat anymore. Hate they removed that.

We are in town for the holiday and wanted something sweet. My family ventured to South Hill and got a dozen donuts and let me tell you, they were GREAT.
The store was cute and smelled heavenly, though a place to eat these delights would add to the experience (and I get it, the cost). The quality of the donuts themselves was fantastic. We trued an assortment from maple bacon, to Bavarian and a few in between. The glazes were sweet and flavorful but they never overpowered the donut they rode on. The neatest was the French Toast donut as it snuck up on you and actually tasted like french toast.
Great stop and well qorth the trip in from the lake.
