We have had visited 2 different times. Both times the food was EXCELLENT. They are as authentic as it gets, even have the handmade corn tortillas. Our 2nd visit the cook came out and asked how we were enjoying our meals. This place CARES. Good prices an excellent value. *HIGHLY RECOMMEND*

Efrain the owner and head chef is such a genuine and friendly man. Super inviting atmosphere..and did I mention the food!! Loved this place. I had the birria once and it brought me back. Every disk I had was amazing. The service was great. Super nice folks.
The birria sauce had such great flavor. The beef was cooked well, and oh damn! The homemade tortillas were tops.

I visited this place when it first opened, and it was amazing then. However, working in the restaurant business for as long as I did visiting a second time.I contemplated that it might have gone downhill as many restaurants do as time passes. However, today I tried an enchilada lot of late.And I must say as simple as an enchilada plate can be every piece of it was delicious! Most Mexican restaurants don’t really bother to put much time and effort in their rice and beans.And they were both were fabulous. Lastly , I want to mention how friendly the staff was , and it was impeccably clean! I’ll be back very soon.

My oh my. Redding has a lot of good Mexican food but this is one of the best places. Looks family run which I always appreciate, very welcoming staff. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Came in last night after seeing a picture of Birria tacos online. Unfortunately, they do not serve them everyday so I had to settle for a Chile relleno plate. It was fantastic. The rice and beans were also very good. I absolutely stuffed myself. The medium hot sauce is closer to hot than medium. Very good flavor. I did not try the mild sauce. So…I came back today to get some Birria tacos. Also very good. Now…I’m getting an enchilada order to take back to the Bay area for lunch tomorrow! Great food. You need to try it!

The Review of all reviews by a real Mexican. I had the chili rellenó and cheese enchilada with a side of homemade tortillas. I’ll start with the chili relleno, it was wrapped in real bread. The sauce had an after taste of a spice I’m unfamiliar with. Something I’ve never had with that dish. The enchilada had the same sauce from the Chile relleno which all tasted the same. I was really disappointed because the review spoke really highly of the establishment. When I travel I always try to find a real Mexican restaurant by reading the reviews. Unfortunately this was not the place. I will not be returning or recommending. The workers seemed nice but what I need was real authentic food at the $20+ price I paid.

My wife had birria tacos.
Both were excellent! Their handmade Tortillas were hot and delicious as well.
We will most definitely be back!!
If you like Taqueria style dining they are open for sit down dining.

Amazing authentic food from Mexico. Family owned and operated. My wife and I live close and we always eat here. Food is great tasting with good portions, we give it 5/5, their customer service is a 5+/5 and they offer a Veteran discount 5/5. We eat here regularly. Come on the weekends for special dishes or come try it on Tuesday when they have their taco Tuesday promotion. You should come check it out! You wont be sorry!!!

We enjoy Los Cachorros often. The Wet burrito, Carne Asada Nachos and their burritos are always our go to. The staff here is extremely friendly and always make us feel welcome. I appreciate having them in our community!
