10/10 !!! The service by Ulises was amazing very helpful and attentive ! Smile with his service! One of the top 5 of lemon drops I have ever tasted . I love Hudson House so I knew I would love this place! We had Pizza and it was crispy and flavorful . The house made marina is 10/10 . I had to get some to go . We had the Mozzarella bites and they were fried to perfection with the perfect amount of cheese !

I originally was a fan of Houston’s. Houston’s closed but is owned by Hillstone. Those geniuses stopped selling chicken tenders, so I gave this place a try.
Before I begin, I want to clear up some confusion about this place. If you intend to eat at the GREEN building location near SMU, you want to eat at the Hillcrest location. If you want to eat at the Preston location (in the strip mall parking lot with Central Market), go to this location on Preston. I say that because some genius posted the wrong building photos on each address location. The photos of the green building are NOT for the Preston location! Having said that….
The location is on the corner of Preston & Royal… in the same parking lot with Central Market. Parking was great because it’s in a strip mall parking lot. So there was adequate parking.
Great location, great vibe on the inside. We were able to walk in and get a table in 30 minutes. We waited at the bar and tried an appetizer. Then got seated when our table became open.
As I said, we ordered an appetizer. Try the smoked salmon! That with the sauce is AMAZING! I wasn’t too crazy about the pita bread pairing. They could have used a crispier bread to contrast it. But it’s worth getting.
My wife ordered a grilled chicken Cesar salad. She loved it. The dressing was more like a vinaigrette.
I ordered the chicken tenders with honey mustard and mashed potatoes. All great choices. The mashed potatoes had carrot bits in them (I’m not a carrot guy), but the mashed potatoes tasted great. So I didn’t mind the carrots.
We tried the pizza. We ordered a Chicago pizza and added pepperoni and sausage. That with the hot honey was a smash hit. To be honest, the pizza wasn’t so great the next day.
If you’re a fan of Houston’s chicken tenders or smoked salmon, you’ll love this place. I won’t say that DL Mack’s copied it. They just had the sense to keep it on the menu… and by coincidence, it tastes just as good- if not better. Great food. Great service. Great price. I highly recommend.
Consider making reservations “just in case”.

Great experience! Service friendly and on point (thx Ashton!). Relaxed atmosphere and approachable menu. We had a cheeseburger and the chopped MCarthy salad (nice take on the classic Cobb). We had lunch but the bar looks good and this could be a great place for a drink or two!

this place hit all our marks! we had the french fries up front, white truffle gnocchi, and the honey truffle chicken. every was a 10/10. our server was hector, and he was extremely pleasant, checked on us multiple times, & even packed our leftovers. good ambiance. will definitely be returning!

10/10 all around. Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Get the chicken strips, I don’t care how old or mature you think you are. Pizza was fabulous. Margaritas were fabulous. Parking was easy, and the wait staff was wonderful. Will absolutely make this a mandatory stop anytime we’re in Dallas.

Cute restaurant with a pretty solid menu. The service was still good despite there really only being 1 server during lunch when I went. The fries were so good and the pizzas that others got looked amazing.
